Monrin'

I just read about the "Balderdash file". It looked to have some cool patches, where can I go to get it? Or, should I install ToB and its officeial patches to get these fixes? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

If you do not have ToB installed, get the Official SoA Patch first, then get the Baldurdash SoA Fixpack v3.61.

If you do have ToB installed, get the Official ToB Patch first, then get the Baldurdash ToB Fixpack v1.12.

I'm experiencing some looping in dialogues with Arie, Kelsey, and other strange stuff like a lich in the maze that never runs out of teleport field, permanently dissappearing lich, mind-flayer, (they dimension out and just never return but don't die, no xp, etc.,).

I saw at one point a list of the order in which all mods should be applied, and since I've also got a problem with the twisted-rune quest, so I've decided I should just reinstall, and re-apply all mods. I have SoA, all the mods that are reasonable to d/l with a modem, ie, kelsey was the largest d/l.

Can anyone supply a link to that page? or a another one that is a trusted order to apply? Or offer an alternative suggestion? I don't have ToB or any other one. Just SoA.

I did apply the official patches before installing mods I believe.

When it occured to me that I would be posting this very often, I wrote down a default message in Notepad and saved it. Now whenever somebody wants a patch, I copy and paste.

Does this mean that I will not be able to use the SoA fix pack (it is now non-existent?)? If so should I install ToB and use the ToB fixpack?

Ok, time to go against my normal preachings, I guess...
Baldurdash Remix. Has the SOA fixpack and cheats, aswell as TOB fixpack and cheats, in the same installer.
HOWEVER, if this is your first time through, I would strongly recomend against installing any of the Cheats.
