Couldn't agree more, what's the use of keeping members who haven't even made a single post in a year or longer?

you mean if they have no posts after a year (then I agree)? or if they dont post for more than a year, but have some posts (in which case I disagree with their deletion)

To be sure it doesn't depend on "posts" made... I would think that if a user hasn't at least logged in, even to lurk, it can be known. I think with some free email services it's 30 days without logging in and *poof*, you're done.
I do understand that membership numbers are important though.

Man you guys are harsh LOL. A year? In my experience at other places, people do show up now and then after more than a year. You never know! :) It would kind of suck I think to have your account deleted, especially if you had a decent post count.

How about those that visits everyday but never post a single post since registeration? Do you want them to be deleted too?
