I always wanted a blue horse

Well, the kitty (Oshie, not Miss Abby) and I are back to pills again. Meaning I give it to her, she spits it out, I try again. Such a fun way to start and end the day. Everyone should try it. After that, every thing else in your day is easy!!

Yep, green horse=newly trained horse

They have blue horses. Theyre called Blue Roans. Very pretty, and yes, they are blue :D

Why don't you the hold the cats mouth shut and plug its nose until it swallows? Well I dunno if you could do that without getting scratched, but thats what we do with our dogs

Cloudbringer 03-10-2004 02:25 PM

HI CD!

New horse, LB? Wear extra padded clothing! LOL :D

Johnny was it just extra cold out today or did you have to spend longer than usual outside? Geez, you need a less physical line of work, my friend! *hands johnny a couple beers and a few pillows* Here- get comfy someplace and stay inside for a while! :D

Cloudbringer 03-10-2004 02:26 PM

Wellard! Hi! Not sleeping? ugh...I suppose you've tried the warm milk or hot toddy solutions already, but how about we get CD to sing you a lullabye? :D

Lady Blue03 03-10-2004 03:51 PM

Well we've had this horse since she was a filly, so she's not 'new', just new to being ridden. She took off with me as soon as I got on her with only one foot in a stirup! That was fun, lol. I can definatley tell I'm going to be sore tomorrow. Ah well, was worth the heat and sweat, I'm going back next week :D
Yeah, he's okay, he got stuck somewhat halfway down the ladder. If he would have fallen all the way down, he would have landed in some thorny bushes. LOL

But still a few nasty bruises though, he might not be able to work tomorrow. I guess it will swell later today. Falling down the ladder happens to the best of us every now and then. We got surprised by snowfall while we were working, so that must be the reason why. Everything gets slippery, the ground, your shoes, the ladder, i guess it was bound to happen.

And no, i didn't fall, but i have this thing hanging off my waste, it's called a bucket on a belt. My stuff is inthere, so i don't have hold it in my hands when i go up there. But it's all wet of course, and sometimes water drips on my pants on that side. I guess it froze up a little. It's not a very comfortable feeling, i can tell you that much. :D

It started out as any normal day in March i suppose, grey sky, wind from the North East, but all in all not a reason to stay at home. But the snow kinda surprised us, that made things a little colder than usual. Plus our ladders are aluminum, which gets terribly cold after a while. Carrying it becomes quite painful, and after a while you lose the feeling in your hands. At least you won't feel the cold anymore. :D
