OOC>> back again, had eye surgery, and it took a damn week or so to heal XD, now,all that is left is to get my pc back from the repair shop :-( . And btw, thanks for covering for me dplax, apreciate it.
The human wasnt very suspicious, but tagging along with a stranger he scarcely knew wasnt good. But then he remembered about that he indeed had another companion. So he thought he would give this one a chance to prove himself . He started towards to door, with his companion and the stranger, and looked around for an exit int the tunnel. OOC: The house that Therlion is in and the one that Turin and his companions got are about 40 meters (something like 120 feet) apart so from Therlion's attempts Roland at most can feel some tingling at the back of his head, but nothing specific.
For Turin's group: <font color=white>The guard captain after showing them the house left, but before leaving he told them that Lord Easthome would like to see them some time that night.</font> For Kirun and Terias: <font color=white>After the gate lifted Terias and his human companion could finally spot Kirun through the thickening smoke. Oronuin was already coughing badly. "Let's get out of here fast. The smoke is starting to become rather bad."</font> OOC: You can only leave by the steps upwards. There are nine levels above you. Kirun came from the level which is five above you. The guards have left their posts at the stairs. Choose which level you go to. [ 06-16-2004, 09:02 AM: Message edited by: dplax ] |
"He didn't turn. But the guard left, so that's just as good." Therlion thought as he walked out of the house and started walking towards Turin.
OOC: I don't mean to walk up to him, but to get him to see me and follow me behind a house where we could talk in private. |
Terias realised that he shouldnt be wasting his breath becasue of the thick smoke, therefore he waved his companions to go with him and showed the number 7 on his fingers. He then started up the steps.

<font color=skyblue>Turin
After the guard left, and Turin had felt a little settled in, he complained, "Great. I was hoping to at least get some sleep before having to deal with Easthome again. Well, I guess every chance to see him earns us more trust and more information is gathered at the same time in our quest. How do you two feel about this? Did we go too far setting up base here in this house?"</font> |
<font color=lightgreen>
Roland was about to reply but caught a glimpse through the window of an elf walking. Under closer observation he noticed it was Therlion. "Turin Therlion is in the streets!" He pointed through the window.</font> [ 06-17-2004, 01:45 PM: Message edited by: Sythe ] |
<font color=skyblue>Turin
"By the gods! What is he doing just walking out there? Wait...remember that we have to maintain the appearance of his traders, as we sold him away to Easthome. Any conversation with him in public has to maintain that appearance! Roland, just ease out there and speak to him prively. Do not ask him in unless he gives you an indication that it is safe to do so."</font> |
Looking into Roland's eyes, Therlion motioned suptily with his head for him to come here and proceeded behind the house.
|
<font color=lightgreen> Roland nodded and went out the door. He started walking and looked around just in case anyone was watching him. He neared Therlion but kept distance enough too look although they are strangers. He followed him behind the house and looked around again to see if he and Therlion were being tailed. He looked at Therlion. "Everyone else myself included we had to sell you out like that. And we have recently performed a task for Easthome and we think he is beginning to trust us.And how did you get out of Easthome's clutches? I thought you would be in a cell."

<font color="FF3300">Kirūn
"Aye it do be getting a bit thick in here thanks to yer flames." Nodding towards Terias' hand signing, indicating level seven, Kirūn shrugged and moved up behind taking the task of rear-guard to the party as the trio trudged up the stairs away from the smoke laden lower levels. </font> OOC: I was going to lug along that one guard I tied up for information's sake, but since we're sort of speeding up time, if you want you can ignore those actions of mine when I tied him up. I don't like leaving enemies behind, so I would have killed him. [ 06-18-2004, 06:20 AM: Message edited by: Cienden ] |
For Kirun and Terias:
You go up to the seventh floor. As you step out of the stairway you see a small chamber ahead of you. It has three doors leading from it, one on the left, one on the right and one ahead of you. All of the doors are made of wood and look roughly the same. Upon inspection you find that the two doors on the sides are locked. You can continue through the door ahead, go to a different level or try opening the one of the other two doors. OOC: if you want you can lug along the guard. <font color=silver>"Selling me was part of the plan, so don't think twice about it. The reason I am not in a holding cell or in an interrogation room is that the kind lord thought I could be of use to him as a tutor to his daughter. It just so happens I saved her from an assassination attempt and discovered a plot against him, a result I wish had not transpired. This very house belonged to the leader of the conspiracy."
"But that's not the thing I wanted to tell you. Someone failed us. It's either Faldorn, or the other group. Someone told everything, and we are very lucky that the message was delivered into friendly hands. We sould all meet as soon as possible, to decide how to proceed."</font> Therlion looked around again. |
<font color=green>Feldorn</font>
The pain had lessened during the course of the last few days, but some of its remnants still persisted whenever he moved. Feldorn knew that his body could be healed, but his soul would never be the same as it had been. Between the effects of the spell used on him to get the information and the shock he had from the unearthly creature which had used it, his soul would be forever scarred. After most of his wounds had been healed by the healers and with the help of the minimal supplies they were allowed to treat the prisoners Feldorn was assigned to work in the deepest part of the stronghold, where the passageways were already carved into the deepest rock. Him and the other slaves who worked with him had the job to delve new passageways for the enemy to be able to accomodate new sleeping quarters for their ever growing numbers. Work had been normal slave work the last two days, but today something was different. Rumors had been heard even by the slaves of a large fire burning in the dungeons where they were normally kept. Then came the news brought by a messenger that they were to sleep in the passageway they were digging. When the messenger left he also took nearly half of their guards with them. All through the rest of the day Feldorn whispered with the other slaves about trying their luck and attacking their guards after they were told to sleep. He was determined to amend what he had done. And he was ready to sacrifice his life to do so. After a tireing day the guards told them to sleep, while some of them watched over them and the rest slept taking it in turns. However Feldorn and the ones he had spoken with during the day did not sleep. They waited for Feldorn's signal. He gave the signal as a guard walked among the sleeping prisoners. Feldorn jumped up and in a swift movement grabbed hold of the orc's neck and broke it. Those who were told of the plan jumped up and attacked their guards with bare hands or rocks they had hidden during the days work. They quickly overcame the surprised guards. They took their weapons and armor and started on their way out from the depths of the tunnels under the stronghold killing any guards they found along the way. |
Elsewhere in the stronghold (and some info at the end for Kirun and Terias):
News of the fire reached the commander of the stronghold. He ordered guards to take care of it, but by the time they got there the fire was already a raging inferno in the lowest level of the stronghold. When neither the guards, nor any news of them came back to the commander he decided on a new course of action. He turned to a human looking figure standing beside him. <font color=black>"Arandor! I trust you can take care of this annoyance. Also make sure that no prisoners use this fire to escape."</font> Arandor moved to obey his master. He had once been a human, but greed and lust for power had taken him to dark ways and after some time he found himself called by Morgoth to him. He could not resist the possibility of becoming more powerful and had vowed to serve the dark lord. He had lived a long life, but eventually he died. However a balrog, one of Morgoth's most trusted servants had brought him back, so that he could serve him once again. Arandor was given new powers. He was not an undead, neither was he living, he was a creature who was between the two. Even balrogs did not posess the magic necessary to totally bring someone back from the dead. He had been a mage during his life and now was an even more powerful one after his life. Arandor left his master's chambers and went to the staircase which led to the dungeons. On the way down he paused for a moment at one of the exits where he spotted a group of an elf, a human and a dwarf, but then he moved on down the staircase. |
<font color=lightgreen> "Yes we all should get together and decide on this. For now we must be separate until we can find a safer place to speak. I will tell Turin of this valuable information you provided. But where shall we meet again?" </font>

OOC: the thread is reaching the thread limit, so before we go over it I am creating a new thread for the game. I shall also ask Larry to close this one.
