Lot of snow here (what would you expect?), but ice under it and you have to be carefull if you want to keep your feets unbroken... I almost fell on the way to the store.

No snow here. It has been freezing a bit lately. But today it was raining and the wind made it pretty cold as well. I just hope it will be dry tomorrow evening when I've got to cycle to my prom-like party. At least it's better than paying big $ for a taxi and my father has to work next day so I won't ask him.

But first exam Dutch tomorrow :( Have to write a piece on patents on genes. Doubt that was a good choice. Today I had to write 450 words on euthanasia for English but I ended up with 515 and nobody knows how many words you were allowed to write more or less. And I still feel stupid for putting 515 as number of words instead of slightly a bit less. At least I hope they'll recount the words now so they at least know I was honest instead of some others who just wrote they had 50 words less.

But actually I think it's bs, I wasn't finished yet with 450 words. And those last were really needed to get a few things out of the way. I only talked about 3 superficial arguments. Why don't they just look if the piece is good instead of how many times you wrote 10 words too much. I count on a 10% deviation which gives me 20 words too much. Hope they don't take that too heavy. But next time they really should say how much is allowed. I don't think this test is worth a retake but maybe I have to now :(

How about a company that took 2.5 months just to fix a burned out motherboard in our computer. Can remember it like yesterday. We didn't have a wireless network then and whenever I wanted to play a game or rather tell people in there I was still alive I had to go to the library. I was a baaz draconian by then lol

Stormymystic 12-22-2004 03:56 PM

how about a company that had to keep coming back every week to finx a broken AC in the middle of a heat wve because they do not know how to fix it to begin with? and they did this for 3 months.

It would have been less expensive for them to replace it entirely rather than send out so many tech visits. Why are so many "technicians" apparently so incompetent?

Just imagine your reaction to being a repasirman. That should show you what kind of folks go into it. Not at all like window washing technicians, mind. They are some of nature's noblemen. :D

how do you think they get so much money? if the thing keeps breaking, and it is not under warranty, they can charge you for every visit.
