Having abandoned my
search for truth, I am
now looking for a good
fantasy.

Sometimes I think I
understand everything,
then I regain consciousness.

Ryan,

I really like this last one. Much shorter for you than usual. But directly to the point.

Jerome,

Already told you I like that one.

Here's a good night poem that I posted for Jafin.
I will post it here too cause i quite like it.

Pass anon
into dream
Portals cast
broken seam
Sylvan moon
scarabs gleam

Deserts quiet
limbo's time
Sailing spirit
morning chime
Ruined bliss
galactic crime

great stuff... guys, we are doing some great stuff here!!! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

I long to see
Your calm gentle smile
Shimmering eyes of Serenity
I long to hear
A long lost voice
Your heart-warming voice
Your voice that gives me comfort
Your voice that fills me with life
I want to see, I want to hear
I will look back, I will listen
Intently, Silently
Appreciating those scattered and joyous times before me
Knowing
This longing
Will never be
Fulfilled

Djinn -I love the gently rolling feel of your poems, the way they flow so well off your tongue when you speak them. I also love the way they hint at images, rather than describer the min detail. More please http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Jerome - if this poem has been reposted, was Clouds really hallucinating? Keeo writing and posting ... please http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Bahamut - the poem that begins "You, You lied". Wow, a mature piece that is polished in its simplicity, but packs a powerful emotional punch. I am veryimpressed.

Here's my latest - first draft still, only written 15 minutes ago so be gentle with it.

I saw you

I saw you again this morning,
the gentle, tender man
with the soft and smiling eyes
that caught my heart.
I saw you again this morning,
You looked out from behind
the angry, bitter lines
locked like heavy iron bars
across the window of your eyes.
I saw you again this morning,
like a briefest flash of bright blue skies
before the heavy hanging cloud
rolled back in to hide you.
I saw you again this morning
I miss you.
