'Melt' can be found in the desert leader's bedroom and also in level 12 at the back just after you knock the Bone Golem on it's arse (or at least that's the way I deal with it)!

But did you mean items that are part of an official 'set' or just those that are set i.e. specifically named?

And as they are both named 'Melt' but are slightly different in the way they are set up with their bonuses does that mean they are not the same in any case? Likewise with Suni's gloves as there are two sets with different settings found in different places...

Sadly, not quite. I am in fact refering to actual "set" pieces found within Level Eleven. In this case, both of the items in questions are exact duplicates, unlike the Desert Dustmakers and the "Melt" scimitar you've mentioned. (That weaker version of Melt ought to be revised and give fire and acid damage.... Yehaw... *goes into mindless drooling for a moment or five*) I'm sure you've come across both of the set collection pieces multiple times, however. And just in case I am mistaken, ARE Suni's gloves found somewhere within The Underground Desert? If so, that would qualify as one and there would in fact be THREE "set" pieces that could answer the question.

Moze, I don't think you can use items that randomly occur in AreaHighTreasure chests/containers. While you may find them a goodly amount of the time, that doesn't mean that everybody does. I have pulled the staff weapon in question out of one of the black crates behind the desert warrior's fortress, for example. I have also pulled shadow thief gauntlets, and a separate version of Moander's helm out of the same box.

Well, that explains why I am not always able to find the quarterstaff inside of The High Moors. However, you did successfully answer the question, so it is your turn to come up with something. To be fair, you may also want to list off the OTHER weapon (which I know as a fact is on the ground in both the places it is found and therefore not randomized) which is found within The Underground Desert that is found elsewhere within the module.

Valas War Hammer, although they are different, stat wise. The Lake version is a bit more powerful.

Where can you find the most powerful version of the Drow Dark Dagger?

Thanks for the update.
As for my guess about the Drow Dark Dagger, my first attempt will be at Marta's store inside of Skullport?

That's correct. Choose...

Okay, the Choose Wisely cavern...
(spoiler question)

How many times can you use that cavern per login, assuming you have nothing in your inventory but healing potions and your basic equipment.

Hey Moz, your question, and it's answer are on page one.

argh.
didn't look through the previous questions.
oh well, let me try something else then...

okay, what is the most powerful creature (currently) found in the sewers underneath Waterdeep itself? (as far as I have seen, there is only one of these creatures found within the sewers, either.)
