Re: Cloudy's Cafe, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Hmm, maybe I should get a girlfriend to do the household chores for me. Or a butler or something.
Which one is the most expensive? |

OK, someone find out who's responsible for the new batman series and send them a crate of manure.
Batman the Animated Series - Awesome Batman and Robin (cartoon not movie) - Decent Batman Beyond - interesting, maybe even a little cool The Batman - not terrible, but not good either Batman: The Brave and the Bold - this is not batman, do not be fooled. He looks like him, wear's his name, but this is not him. Almost as bad as the Clone Wars fiasco. |

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
My mother-in-law enjoys housework... she gets her thrills out of ironing clothes. Go figure.
My wife didn't pick up that trait, and while I might miss it in some ways, I'm kind of glad. It'd force me to a whole level of clean I really don't want to live in. On another front, Toys R Us this morning had a Bakugon tournament. For those unaware, Bakugon are the *IN* toy for boys in the 6-11 year range. Think Pokemon a little differently, and as I think I've shared before, my son doesn't mind when he loses a battle. He doesn't *like* losing, but he doesn't get upset and frustrated like he does with other things. If you see Bakugon in the store, the ones that are important are the ones that fold into little marbles. The figures that stand are close to useless... and often frequently found in the stores. The six-pack starter packs are also very nice :) Corbin got a couple of cards just for showing up, and because he battled so well, also won a Bakugon :D He was happy... Finally learned a strategy lesson I've been trying to teach him, too. One kid he battled had three gate cards that all said that the Bakugon with the *lowest* points won the battle... and of course, that handily beat Corb's high-point battlers. Corb finally understood that kid's strategy when he lost to him... 1-2-3. Now to finish hooking up cable to the TV in the basement, and life will be good... |

I've seen them around, for people from my generation, perhaps you should think pogs, you know the little cardboard discs, some of which they'd charge up to a dollar for.
Mostly I've caught the toon series on Saturday mornings. TV's always on in the background and unless they're showing something I detest it tends to be on Cartoon Network in the AM. They actually introduced an interesting plot twist into the series. |
