Bozos of Bones 02-21-2005 06:02 PM

I was unclear.. can I kill them off in one post, or do I attack them and you tell me what limb I hack off?

Larry_OHF 02-21-2005 11:12 PM

Go ahead and make it worth the read....and I'll let you do it all in one post.

But if it does not give me shivers to read, your ass is grass man.

I'll have those banewolves on you faster than you can say "spam".

Larry_OHF 02-21-2005 11:13 PM

I am feeling rather puny tonight,,,as I am having to fast for 24 hours so that my blood can be checked for low-blood sugar (Hypoglycemia).

Therefore, I'll see ya tomorrow after I have had enough to eat.

Legolas 02-22-2005 06:14 AM

Also, it may be relevant for your drow to realise that the rest of the garrison hopes there are no more assassins alive in the building. Blood-curdling screams would convince them otherwise.

TAOWolf 02-22-2005 09:49 AM

Good Luck at the Doc's Larry..

I was diagnosed with Hypoglycemia when I was 15..

no shots, just watch what I eat.. :D

Fun Spoiler.

Cyril Darkcloud 02-22-2005 02:33 PM

Sorry for the delay in posting - had to leave town unexpectedly and have only just gotten back. I'll have some posts up tonight.

TAO - My most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your grandmother andmy most honest prayers for both the consolation of your family and her peaceful repose.

Bozos of Bones 02-22-2005 02:45 PM

There ya go, Larry, all bloody and gory as I think you'll like :D

I'll post Kynnen getting his equipment later, maybe even today. And sorry for the delay, remembered I had to study something in the morning.

Larry_OHF 02-22-2005 03:18 PM

So we'll just ignore the small fact that the last post that mentioned the 3 guards also covered the small detail that they had no weapons on them...
but forget about it this time. Let's just move this along.
Take care with future posts, however. A wrong turn can get you licked by a banewolf.

Bozos of Bones 02-22-2005 04:38 PM

Ah that, sorry. I guided myself by the last post where it said that obly the talker didn't have his weapon. Can't er just say that in his haste, the guard forgot about the longsword in his sheath at his side?

Morgeruat 02-22-2005 04:58 PM

Be wary of meddling in the affairs of dragons (and modding mages) for you are crunchy and taste good with catsup.

Morgeruat 02-23-2005 08:13 AM

Wow, blew my test out of the water, for those who don't know, the microsoft certification tests require a score of 700 to pass (out of 1000, the questions aren't weighted equally though) I passed my 70-270 (Win XP test that's required for MCSA) with a score of 985. highest score in my class on that test.

Excellent Morg, Grats

Larry_OHF 02-24-2005 11:00 AM

FYI>>>I am having difficulty with my PC at home. I had to unplug everything and forgot that I had not properly understood how the new digital phone line connects its incoming with the three outputs, intermingling with the modem and router. I'll be working on getting everything hooked back up and organized in a workable manner. It looks like I will need to buy at least one new cord to reach the new location of the modem.

Larry_OHF 02-24-2005 03:00 PM

Cyril: Is Larry so wrapped up in his telling of his history that he does not notice that the real stranger has appeared and taken an interest in Morgie's journal? And would he recognize the illusion for what it is once he sees the real man?

Oh no...I am beginning to sound like dplax!!

:D
Sorry dplax! Just jivin'

TAOWolf 02-24-2005 03:05 PM

good luck, Larry.. if you need help let me know. I had to call the tech rep to get ours hooked up for networking.. LOL

OKAY... the family squabble for possessions I THINK is over... (I have been SO MAD for the last 4 days, I could easily kill someone who ticked me off..) One aunt has been officially disowned now, and I have an investigator after her.. (i thought when someone dies, you were supposed to mourn them and get through the funeral, not start grabbing possessions before they have even been dead 24 hours..)

anyway, sorry for ranting... Cyril, post away when ever you are ready, and I'll work up a post sometime after you...

thanks for all the kind words and prayers, ya'll! :hugs:

Morgeruat 02-24-2005 03:18 PM

I know exactly what you mean TAO, when my grandfather died 2 years ago we had the same problem with an uncle and one of my cousins. I'm sorry honoring the person and their life is more important than scrambling for a few baubles.

Elif Godson 02-25-2005 04:25 PM

wow that sounds familiar to me. Good luck Tao, I hope you can resolve it peacefully. As an uncle said to me about a certain someone that my father was entwined with, Eternity is a long time suffer, there is nothing you can do to them on this earth that will possibly compare to what happens to them after. I can hope he is right, but I sure would have loved to smash em around a bit ;)

dplax 02-27-2005 02:03 PM

And after a week of no internet I am finally back!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother Tao. You have my condolences.

Congratulations on the exam Morg!

I know I asked a lot of questions lately but the PvP situation did pose quite a few questions.

Now I'll go and read up on what my two owls have missed. :D

RoSs_bg2_rox 02-27-2005 04:52 PM

Alright folks, since I'm having a hard time of it at the moment I will be letting Patrick post for me. I think if he makes one post for me I should be back on track; by sometime later on this week.

Spurred on by Larry

Larry: Just tell him we love him and need him...and if he
does not have the ability to move for a while, assign a
friend to move for him, and if he needs to break off from
too much going on...then we shall have fun killing him...

:D

Skydracgrrl 02-28-2005 12:22 AM

*waves meekly* long time no see, everyone ^^; finally back from the dead, hopefully for good.. let's just say college and life in general has been a bit hectic as of late, but I plan on being alive on the forum now. Dunno if you kept Liam alive or not, just thought I'd stop by and say hi to you all ^^; *meekly sits in corner and studies school hw*

Larry_OHF 02-28-2005 12:46 AM

You have ALOT of homework to do here.

I suggest you catch up, and let me know when you are ready. Both of your characters can be utilized upon your readiness.

You'll have to explain Liam's dissappearance on your own. I will expect nothing less than sure brilliance.

dplax 02-28-2005 01:38 AM

Welcome back Skye! It has indeed been a long time.

Morgeruat 02-28-2005 08:44 AM

I'd like to add my welcome as well. It's been far too long since we've been graced by your excellent posts and RP. *waves*

Elif Godson 02-28-2005 08:54 AM

Hail Skye now stick yer nose back in the book and tell me about quant...quanti...err hows it spelled :D

Skydracgrrl 02-28-2005 11:58 PM

Thanx everyone Dplax, I'd like to offer my sincerest apologies for missing out on your rp :(

and Larry, tomorrow is starting to look like a snow day (glee! ^^ ) so hopefully I will be all caught up by tomorrow sometime. Looking forward to creating a brilliant return post... hope I can live up to everyone's expectations. ;)

There always are new games. I hope to be able to see you sometime later in a different game of mine.

Bozos of Bones 03-01-2005 05:43 AM

Guys, sorry I haven't been posting in the mast week or so. First it was school, then it was the boneaching flu, which I still have. My face hurts, so you can imagine how my head feels. I can't really think straight now with that. If I get well any time soon, I still don't see myself posting untill next monday, because I enrolled in this everyday seminar which trakes 4 hours out of my day on a workday, and will take 8 on the weekend. I'll post first chance I get.

Larry_OHF 03-01-2005 11:59 AM

Last night, I had to go to where my wife works, get the battery out of the car that she did not think to bring home with her when she got a ride, take the battery to the store to be recharged for free, and then take that back to the car and install it, and get the car home.

Then the baby started spotting blood in her stool. Worried about her, and having not had dinner until all of that had cleared out of the way...I did not show up last night.

I just now finished a homework assignment for my next class here in the lab, and now have to grab some snacks before class begins.

I'll be ready to post soon and be ready to move along in the plot(s).

Skydracgrrl 03-02-2005 03:00 AM

No snow day :( I'm slowly losing faith in nature... how dare it not live up to the weather station's expectations of 10 inches? ( ) so I'm still very behind in post reading... but next week is spring break, where I won't have anything to do except work on an essay... (huzzah) :D

Larry_OHF 03-02-2005 04:34 PM

Sorry...now I am sick. Sore throat. Not to mention that I have some homework to catch up on.

Hey...next week is Spring Break for me too! I will be able to catch up easy.

TAOWolf 03-02-2005 05:15 PM

I will be gone (taking a ride on the motorcycles to South Padre Island.. 583 miles) March 18th thru the 27th..

just a heads up :D

Morgeruat 03-04-2005 03:24 PM

Hey guys, my work comp went down so I'm focussed on fixing that right now, it appears to be a bad RAM chip at this point.

Larry_OHF 03-05-2005 10:16 AM

General Invitation

If your character does not have a general history as to how he came about getting here and would like to post a back-up story on why your character is here fighting against the Mage...you are welcome to do so. dplax has done well with his history of Plaxica, and he has told me that he has more to mention which will bring Plaxica up to speed with the whole story.
I think you all will be surprised and entertained by what he has come up with. It is a great twist of fate.

Anyway, in order to grow your character's personality and all here...feel welcome...as long as it ties into the game and does not deviate from it.

I would prefer you ask me before going off-track with something, so keep that in mind. dplax has consulted with me on issues he had, so what he posts has been approved already.

Short stories like this makes the game more fulfilled, so as to prove that our characters did not come out of nowhere.

Morgeruat 03-05-2005 10:32 PM

Larry,One version of Morguerat did almost literally come out of nowhere

mistral4543 03-05-2005 10:54 PM

I'm ashamed to say that I really haven't had time to read through this story, but from the length of the posts, I can tell that everyone has thought these out carefully and crafted them painstakingly.

Well done, everyone, and keep it up. May you continue to enjoy roleplaying as much as I did a few years back

dplax 03-06-2005 03:53 AM

Nice to see you again Mistral! I hope that one day you shall have the time to rejoin this game!

mistral4543 03-07-2005 12:03 AM

Ooh, thanks, dplax. Nice to know some members here still remember me

But there's no question of rejoining the game, I'm afraid... I couldn't ever keep up with the storyline with the hundreds of posts being churned out every week and limited time for checking them out :(

Ah well, I'm contented knowing that you folks are having a good time to all.

Larry_OHF 03-07-2005 09:53 AM

We Still require dreams and ghostly visitations from time to time, and remember the end result of all this is to attempt to bring you back from the dead.
