Well, I never usually go there, but I got hit in the eye with a tennis ball, so they were more than a little wonky. ;) There's this other place I go to that is almost always dead and I get them straightened right away.

Kaltia! Howsit goin?

Evening everyone. Been a thunderstormy evening over here, at least though the electric didn't go out. Well it did pop out once, lightning hit something really close, but it came back on within 10 seconds, so the refresh switch worked! So nice, as before we must have had some old ass electrical switch or something, as even wind would take out the elec for hours LOL, sheesh.

I still worry though when we get storms, but I'm prepared LOL. Have 8 large flashlights, a zillion scented candles LOL, and two small battery powered TVs. I'll never forget two years ago when we had a hurricane come our way watching the premier of Survivor, with my little TV in the total blackout, hee!! Need to upgrade and get a TV that runs on batteries and runs DVDS, you know, for those "nothing on local TV" moments when the elec goes out. I just love preparing for bad times and trying to make them easy going, as I, like maybe many of you, seem to like mentally collapse when there is no electricity LOL.

Yikes, LZ! You're prepared for about anything... got a bomb shelter too? ;)

Been doin' okay, for the most part. :D My brother was diagnosed with Addison's Disease, which was a bit of an OMGWTF-type moment, but other than that, it's all good. :D

I'll bet that it was a bit of a sit-down. Sorry to hear about his problems, but it is treatable, nowadays. Good to hear from you.

Got back from the match. The Boro are in Europe for the second year in a row! :D

1-1 it ended, and a penalty that wasn't a penalty to Man City in the 93rd minute made Schwarzer pull off a fantastic save to take is into Europe. What a day! :D !

I followed it on TV text, must have been an exciting match, just like a lot of other matches today, like the ones Southampton, West Brom, and Norwich played. Congrats with reaching europe, maybe you'll go up against Feyenoord next year. :D

Oh..and Jimmy finally pulled his weight again eh ?

Remember that girl I was going on about a month back? Well, she dumped me and got back together with her old boyfriend (one of my close friends).

That was 2 weeks ago, ce la vi!

Now I'm going out with one of her friends, and I'm still friends with my old girlfriend (who is a genuinely nice person). So it turned out all right, and personally I couldn't be happier.

Exams round the corner, but then so's summer!!!

A pretty random post, but I'm unloading stuff from my chest. :D

Ah, well, Siggie, at your age that happens a lot. In Texas we call it boying and girling. Maybe there, too?

We don't have that term down here, and any slang we have tends to be in spanish really. :D

Quite hypocritical considering how british we are...

hmm...

Never mind!

It was nerve racking to say the least, but the prize was sweet. One of the mini buses (not a coach most of the boro fans came on) got bricked on the way back. The police cleared the road and had cars stationed on the roads until the motorways. It was funny when a topless supporter was shouting "Eric's not going to Europe, Eric's banned from Europe, nananana" at a policeman.

I watched the final matches on Match of the Day last night, they looked exciting. I feel sorry for the Southampton, Norwich and Palace fans but well done to Robbo and Nigel Pearson and West Brom. Ex Boro players/staff so I'm glad they're staying up.

Jimmy pulled his weight for about half the match but got lazy. Hell of a goal though. Freekick, curled past the wall, rocketted off the bar and in.

Boro are supposed to have signed Yakubu, a striker, from Portsmouth. He should give us that extra up front to let us do even better than this year!

Now all I have to worry about is saying over £200 for a season ticket.
