Well, I just made a mace. It is pretty cool, it regnerates the wielder and it slays Wyverns on contact. I saved it, and placed it into the override file. Now how do I get it into the game?

I'm really interested in making items but I just need to know where I can get hold of the proper programs to start doing it. Also any help or advice you could give to get me started would be very much appreciated.

Anyway, on the item making front, you are looking for Infinity Engine Editor Pro. It's great, extract the items using Shadowkeeper and look at them. I write down what I want and then make an item with it.</font>

You could make an improved Equaliser+4/+5 with some special abilitys or something.

Could I have a +3/4 long sword? If so, I'd like it to be kinda like a combination of the Cloak of Mirroring and the Vorpal Sword.... a fifty percent chance that anything hit with it will have to make a saving roll or be killed, and it reflects offensive spells back at the sender... (finger of death ect, not things like stun, maze etc.) ^-^ Is that possible? It's name is Earendil.... and I have a description too. "Said to be forged from a piece of a star that had fallen to the earth, Earendil became a prized sword of fighters until a Shadow Dragon happened upon it, siezed it, and kept it in its horde until it was killed hundreds of years later, when the sword disappeared."
