Neb clutched his tattered robe around him and used his staff to support him as he rounded a corner, he had bumped into MANY more ghouls since the initial confrontation, he was running low on spells and he had been wounded, luckily he had avoided disease, he was also getting a bit freaked out by the fact that the wind rushing through the tunnels sounded a LOT like some huge creature breathing.

Neb spotted a ghoul up ahead and decided to blast apart with a lightning bolt, the thing died instantly, he moved forward, having lost track of where he was, he wandered the tunnels randomly, hoping to bump into something friendly or find the place where he entered the sewers.

As Neb moved forward, he could see that the tunnel stopped and became a gigantic cave, as he got closer to the cave, he could see the huge living THING that was at the center of the cave.....

there is a cluster of wights surrounding a strange, pulsing entity, amorphous in appearance, you can sense its debiliating effects from here, although no effect as yet

The strange breathing noise appears to be an effect it has on the atmosphere

OOC: This thing is about 10 times larger than a Black Pudding and made of negative energy. Just being too close is enough for level drain

(OOC: Can this thing be destroyed by being hit repeatedly with magical attacks and what are the stats of wights, I don't have my Monstrous Manual handy, and please give me the stats in 2nd Ed.)

Neb looks at the huge thing and says to himself, "This unnatural thing MUST be destroyed, it cannot be permitted to remain." he steps out of the tunnel and points his staff at one of the wights and casts a Disentigrate spell at it, the wight is destroyed instantly, the rest of the wights turn towards him and start advancing.

Neb casts a Levitate spell and starts floating upwards until he gets about 10 feet above the floor, he then launches a few fireballs at the approaching wights.

FLAME STRIKE!! (the wights start to fry)

Suddenly 10 Barrow Wights begin to form!

(Ummm... Tia, how did you get down into the sewers? Neb had gone by himself.)

Encard zaps himself into the room's doorway, and sees the wights and the negative energy creature. he looks at for a few more moments, then casts a spell to pull him to where Neb is. He says hello to him, then casts Encard's Weasel Swarm on the wights near the negative energy thing. The wesels attack one of the wights, but as soon as they come close to the creature, they are immediately destroyed. Encard growls in iiritation and begins launching various fire spellsat the wights. One of them casts magic missile at him, and he knocks them away using his bracer of magic reflection, and then sends the wight and several others into another plane. However, the wights keep coming... it is almost as though the creature is also a portal or something...
