Terrask and Bakilas have the option of taking one of the airspeeders, though neither is a outstanding pilot---Terrask is better than Bakilas, and probably even has flown this type of craft before, though Bakilas just has a solid education in the basics, without a lot of flight time. Alternately, they can just walk around the local places.
Barrick turns to Joneth, asking him if his friends are coming along, or if he want's to go someplace else. Around this time, Eciel is taking an Air Taxi to go see one of the survivors, Yulo Ont, a Twi'lek businessman who happened to be one of the lucky survivors with a personal airspeeder. He had fled the scene, leaving behind his family to their certain deaths, and the CDF database says that he has committed numerous slowly escalating crimes since the incident. |

As the elevator comes to a stop Eceil finds himself in a silent hallway.
Yulo Ont, for someone who use to work in the Farraldy Tower the Twi’lek had sure fallen pretty far. Eceil found the businessman’s home on the hundredth floor of an old apartment complex well bellow the twilight line. Something inside Eceil told him the man deserved his new fate, he had left his family to die after all. Approaching Yulo’s door Eceil pats his jacket to ensure once again it still holds his pistol. Convinced its still lying close to his chest he ignores the doors com screen and instead decides to try and reach Yulo the old fashion way. Slamming his fist against the door Eceil shouts: “Mr. Ont, I’d like to have word with you. Do me a favor and open up.” |
"Well I feel like a good walk, unless you object Terrask?"
|
In front of Eciel, the door opens normally, though the scene behind it hardly is. Eciel is greeted rather harshly with a blaster barrage from behind an over-turned couch across the doorway. It is only years of combat experience that allow Eciel to instinctively dive out of the way, though still recieving a minor wound (3 HP). The Twi'lek obviously is crazed, perhaps desperate; he shouts something that sounds nearly bestial in his native tongue of Twi'leki, and unleashes another barrage into the hallway as the doorway shuts. Eciel sighs. This is going to be a long day.
Back at the base, Barrick asks Joneth where to go, figuring that the other two aren't coming. [ 04-01-2005, 01:52 AM: Message edited by: Ilander ] |
Backing up against the hallway Eceil draws his plaster pistol with a quiet swear. He awaits he next salvo of blaster shots to end to rolls back into the doorway and aims his pistol for a disabling shot one of the aliens limbs.

Eciel, jabbing the door control before he rolls ( ;) ), waits out a blaster salvo and then rolls in firing with battle-honed prowess, taking the Twi'lek in the blaster-arm, and knocking him backward, onto the floor. Quick to capitalize on the situation, Eciel enters, kicking the blaster away and putting a foot on Yulo's chest to keep him from moving. Only then does he spare the glance to rest of the apartment, noticing that the man has been living in his own trash for what seems to be the past three months, if the amount is indicative. The room is only furnished with a couch, a holoprojector, and a food-preparation machine. Off to one side, a single door leds to a refresher, while on the other side, a door stands open to reveal a closet.
Glancing down, he sees that the Twi'lek's wound is not that serious---not bleeding, no arterial damage apparent. Just some skin and muscle tissue. |
Terassk states "We can walk... I dont want to try my piloting skills this early in the day,"
|
"Fair enough". With that Bakilas starts a brisk walk to the nearest cantina.

A wave of euphoria flows through Eceil. This was the way he liked to work, this was the Republic had trained him to operate. None of this sneaking around the CDF station or falling back on the force crap, for the first time in a very long while Eceil found himself doing things the right way.
Eceil takes a quick look at the mess of a room then turns with a grin to the wounded Twi’lek. “We got off to a bad start, but I’m a nice guy so I’ll let us try that again. My names Eceil, I’ll be your interrogator today.” Without waiting for a response he presses his pistol against Yulo’s skull. Eceils voice carries a new colder tone to it. “Please tell me theirs no one else here I need to worry about. Answer me or I’ll shoot.” [ 04-01-2005, 08:55 PM: Message edited by: jolleyjester ] |
