He waits for a moment before speaking. "I wouldn't go as far to say 'without emotion', Skye... Merely numb to them. One may think that the road of Eternity is a gift, though you learn otherwise one way or another." He looks to Duo. "You are lucky, you realize... You have something to hold onto, something that binds and something you can cherish, regardless if you can *feel* it or not."

He looks away from them, his eyes trail down to the table. He stares at the table silently...

"... Forgive me, Duo..." He sighs. "I cannot say that I am without fault, for who is a Vampire - A damned creature, to judge anything? Let me tell you of my 'life' here." "Because one is born to darkness by an Assamite's Embrace, does that make one wish to live their lifestyle? I departed from the deep bowels of the Clan, and trying to live on my own has not been the easiest of things, nor one of the wisest decisions I've made. Being alone on the road is peaceful for the while... But there are times when you wish for a companion, and being away from your Clan, and cast away from the Camarilla and Sabbat, where is one to go?"

"... That is why I am here. It is good to be amongst my kind again without being the hunter or hunted. That is why I was angered by the mentioning of being without feeling." He takes a drink of wine. "I am sorry."

TABIUS Thinks long and hard about being a vampire. "Hmm,lust for killing,blood,and hates the light...Thanks,but no thanks.I spend most of my day out in the forests where there is some light.Oh,and greetings to you to Assassian of Shadows.I'm Tabius Elfrose.I study in the arts of the ranger and wizard.And I have slain that black dragon,Tazacmerrintarrian.Oh,and you do know that there are vampire hunters in the town currently don't you.But nothing you gusy can't handle." Tabius goes and orders another elven wine and downs it quickly.

Duo sat and silently looked at Laisrean for a moment. <font color="crimson">"Yes, Skye misspoke. I have told her of some things about vampyres, the few things that I am allowed to tell, without actually making her a vampyre. I too know how it feels to be alone for centuries. And once her lifetime passes on, I will be alone again. But we must live from moment to moment, now mustn't we? Either that, or get ourselves killed."</font> She gave a soft, sarcastic chuckle. <font color="crimson">"And that isn't easily accomplished,"</font> she said in a low, solomn voice. Serious moment over, she turned and grinned at Tabius and Assassin of Shadows. <font color="crimson">"Don't worry, if anyone's going to turn you into a vampyre, it'll be me."</font> She winked at him, one gleaming fang showing through her lips.
Throughout the conversation, Skye had sat quietly in her seat, with a somewhat faraway, sad gaze. Abruptly standing up she said, <font color="dodgerblue">"Excuse me for a moment. I need a breath of fresh air."</font> She walked noiselessly to the door and went outside. Duo shrugged when a few turned and gave her a questioning look. <font color="crimson">"Don't look at me. These moments just come and go. She can be an odd one at times."</font>

"... Is she alright?" Laisrean has a deepy concerned look, which isn't common to see on the face of an Assamite Vampire. His mind was locked on her, among most mortals his empathy can sense their feeling, but Skye... She was different, and that intrigued him. "Perhaps you should check on her...?"

ic- Duo waved her hand nonchalantly. <font color="crimson">"Don't bother. I used to follow her and ask what's wrong, but she just hides whatever it is. She can be very good at that sometimes."</font> she sighed. <font color="crimson">"She's very different than most mortals, and I often wonder if it was wise of me to have her as my companion. Then again, she would have died many times already if it weren't for me. Whatever the problem is, I should respect her space when she wants it, even if she's a mortal. They can be very delicate creatures at times.</font>
Duo looked in the direction that Skye had left.<font color="crimson">"It probably has something to do with her magical talent. She's something of a.. sympathetic psychic, I suppose you could say. She can feel others pain, emotionally and physically. Of course, she can also read a person's thoughts, but she doesn't often do that against a person's will. Since she's already very sensitive as it is, as mortals go, Skye is able to help mortals and immortals with whatever mental problem they have. Usually hurtful past experiences and such.</font> Duo shrugged. <font color="crimson">"That's why I haven't turned her into a vampyre... her talent would have disapeared. Why have one more vampyre when you can have a half-elf who can save a person's soul?"</font> She smirked at this. <font color="crimson">"Or at least what's left of it..."</font>

Meanwhile....

Skye sighed, and looked up at the full moon. She could sense the curiousity of the people within the tavern, as to why she suddenly left. Walking around to the back, she easily climbed up to the roof. Flopping over, she lay staring up at the sky, and said nothing.

"That's true... Very true." He stares out the door silently, and turns back to Duo. "Please excuse me." With that, he downs the last bit of his wine and sets the silver goblet down, and by the time it hit the table, he had vanished.

"It's a nice night, isn't it?" Laisrean stood on the opposite side of the roof, staring up at the moon. "I'm sorry if I frightened you, I was just..." He pauses for a moment and looks over to her a bit lost for words, he didn't know what she was thinking, maybe she just needed some time alone, or maybe there was something on her mind... He looked down for a moment as the thought crossed his mind, she probably knew everything he was thinking. "...Is there a problem, Skye?"

Nickname: Necromancers

Appearance: Giovanni typically maintain of presentibility and respectability. Most Giovanni are from Italian branches, with European features - Including dark complexions, dark hair, and solid statures. Giovanni tend to dress well but not ravishly, preferring subtle accounterments of affluence to ostentheious displays.

Giovanni tend to embrace only ghouls who have been servants or part of another Giovanni family who show potential.

Haven: Considering their wealth, Giovanni consider large Havens such as mansions and large victorian homes.

Weaknesses: The Giovanni kiss causes excruciating pain in mortals, most of their victims die from shock before death from blood-loss. They do twice as much damage with their bite.

Disciplines: Dominate, Necromancy, Potence.

Organization: Giovanni affairs are handled in Venice. With their European roots most Giovanni have a large family structure(think mafia). Giovanni Antediluvian maintain conrol over the Giovanni. They are not intervened in the Jyhad. The Augustus Giovanni also dominate the clan, no one outside the clan has seem them in 400 years.

Bloodlines: Giovanni are all loyal to the entire family.

Stereotype:(What Giovanni think of the following Clans.)

Assamite - Their recent change in disposition makes me nervous.

Brujah - So much noise and yet so little signal.

Followers of Set - Although they hail from the lands of the dead, there is little we can glean from them without tainting ourselves in the process.

Gangrel - Ultimately forgettable; We rarely cross paths.

Lasombra - They'll stab you in the back, but thats because they know how Kindred games are played.

Malkavian - Insight they offer is rarely worth the company they provide; I wonder if the 'madness' is a simple sham to reduce their foes defenses.

Nosferatu - This blightning clan has proved dangerously adept at uncovering secrets. Make no enemies among them lest you become the subject of their attention.

Ravnos - No good can come from Kindred who claim lives at the side.

Toreador - Deceit and indolent, the Toreador nonetheless wield appreciable assets.

Tremere - Slippery as eels, the Tremere are guilty of the same crime as we, period. Yet they admire themselves in the same politics that damn them.

Tzimisce - An arcane, yet outdated evil.

Ventrue - They spend too much time cultivating their image as martyrs to get involved with something that truly matters; they lack direction.

Caitiff - Inconsequential and poorly bred, they are more mosquito than Vampire.

Camarilla - Large, foolish, and predictable. Like American Government.

Sabbat - Smaller, more foolish and less predictable. Like Italian Government.

I will petition Ziroc and the other mods and see if there is anything I can do to help. I have already posted a thread that requires all the existing clans to sign in. After that, we will see how many exist, and how many we can allow to be born. Be patient with me, and PM me any questions, comments, or concerns.
