hi, guys.. been reading your thread. Just a suggestion: Why don't you guys start over with new threads stating what timezone you want the game to be in. It seems like there should be plenty of people interested in playing MP, but the time difference is going to cause problems.

Having said that, I live on the east coast, USA, and I'd like to get in on a game sometime if there's room for me. I'm not too IT savy, so I'd need to piggyback on some of you more knowledgable folks to get things set up.

I'll keep a heads up to see if there's an opening in this timezone.. I have kids and a joby-job to deal with, so I wouldn't have the freedom that some of you guys seem to have (how jealose am i?).

Wow, looks like you have a good party getting started here.

I've played multiplayer on Gamespy quite a lot. But it is hard to keep the same group together. The most I've had the same group of 4 or more people, lasted for maybe 2 weeks (which was 3 or 4 gaming sessions). If you can keep it together, more power to you. I advise you to take it somewhat like "real world" where party members may unexpectedly arrive and depart, in case someone shows up late so it doesn't ruin everyone's session.

Allow the leader (host of the game) to keep the latest copy of every character.

If you have an extra character slot, I would play sometime. I have not tried the new Gamespy 2.0 but it should work the same.

alright so when do we start?

i am proposing end of march so everyone has enough time to schedule and stuff :D .

ive checked the calendar.. the best time for all of us would be friday/saterday march 25 (for -8, -9gmt) & 26 (for +10gmt)

somebody can take my place, as i dont think i have the time any more, exams are comming up and i need to study

alright im down with that. something im uncealr on... we making brand new characters right? or we are importing a low level favorite? either way i guess ill make a new one. so im gonna do mage thief multi i spose. what should i focus thief skills in for group? ill probly do long sword shwort bow for weapons. i usually pick spells that arent found in early game as loot... so we are gonna use gamespy? if so how do we recognize what game to join? i dont remmeber my gamespy name, i guess i will make a new one. its been a couple computers since i last used it. thats all my questions i can think of atm...

- some mods included like acension and dialogue fix pack to make things easier and interesting (of course game patch included)
- we will use gamespy to make things easy for all
- weapons and stuff can be decided later
