Have you never heard the story of the fabled Emerald Dragon? Of how it was once five green stars, and filled the post counts from 900 to 1500? Can you imagine the excitement of posting and hitting new ranks and avatars, up to the point of hitting the emerald dragon.... staying there for five times the normal life of an avatar? You would have dreaded the shrieks of those stuck in that hell, waiting for a birthday thread so they could get in one more post legitimately, wouldn't you?

But no, you arrived after the Emerald Dragon became mortal, didn't you? You've never seen it less than its current 100 posts, have you? You're probably one of those n00bs who think that Quintessons are a challenge, with their mere 500 post count, aren't you?

Did you think to search the GD archives for "emerald dragon hell"? D'you think you'll find more than a post or two about that topic?
