<font color=orchid>Anarrima Culurien 60/60

Anarrima made her departure from Syrathic's side to search out the two others that had somehow gotten away rather quickly. When she did not immediately find their whereabouts, she decided instead to run to her little hut that had been given to her for sleep and gather her belongings up. Hopefully, she was going home, and did not want to waste time packing when the party moved on. So far, the guys seemed pleasant enough. They were not in appearance to be trouble makers, and had been allowed to come this far by the gnomes who do not readliy trust surface folk. Rumor had begun to spread through the settlement of thier bravery in saving the gnomes from Grimlocks, so that was a plus for them. The strange-acting lady with her lion was nowhere to be seen. The fair one was still bartering with the Smith.

When Anarrima made ready her pack, she hurried over to the village food processing hut and began her usual assignments, as she had been working various odd jobs like this to pay for her belongings she had been given. She decided to try extra hard to do as many mundane tasks as possible this afternoon to help store up credit enough to ask for some travelling food as she left the settlement in the upcoming departure of the strangers. </font>

OOC>>>The only way I could think of to help get Anarrima a base supply list was to have her doing jobs around the settlement. For tasks completed, she was rewarded things to call her own. This list contains her possessions:

* A simple back-pack, made of cave rat hide.
* A knife for food prep. or other odd tasks.
* Two extra changes of clothing, made from animal hides of the underdark.
* A club, carved from some unknown creature's bone. It is lighter in weight than it would appear.

Syrathic was pointed to the smith sitting there, and the Elf settled himself for a long barting session. "I'm looking for throwing knives, and I was told that you may be able to help me acquire some. I have gems such as this one for trade," he said, holding out the diamond. "I have a couple of others as well, if the quality of your work is good enough."

Suddenly, he could feel the presence of someone in his mind, a very timid presence. "Ruby?" he said softly to himself. He then turned and looked around, searching for the woman, letting the smith popre over the deal on the table. He knew of psionics but he had never experienced the touch before, and so he did not know what to do. "Where are you, Ruby?" he tried thinking back to her.</font>

<font color=indianred>For Brendon</font>

<font color=thistle>“So it’s weapons and mysterious things you be looking for?” There is a knowing gleam in Kellor’s eye as he speaks. “And someone that can work with hides?” He pauses a moment. “Dellon has kin that might be able to help you with the hide. As for weapons and things ..... Just give me a moment.” Kellor turns to the smith and a fairly animated conversation ensues. Soon a young gnome is sent running to a few other nearby shops.

“Well, maybe a few minutes,” Kellor chuckles. From inside the smithy and from the shops down the lane come the sounds of merchandise being sorted and gathered.</font>

<font color=silver>ooc: If anyone else is interested in weapons or useful pieces of equipment that we have not already discussed in PMs, please indicate this now as there’s no need to roleplay this same scene several times.

<font color=plum>Azrael</font> - If it’s OK with you, let’s assume that Dankorona wil handle the interpretation issues involved in shopping and trading so that Kellor can be free to leave with Syrathic.

<font color=lightgreen>Syrathic</font> - Kellor has noted your interest in conducting some transactions. Feel free to run with the PM I sent you.</font>

Brendon watched the gnomes run about and talk, trying to prepare a worthy presentation of items that might be purchased. He began counting the jewels that he had, and what their possible worth would be. While he was standing there, gazing aruond, he had noticed Syrathic striking up a conversation with a surface elf! How did she get down here? He had to make sure he talked with her in a bit to see what was going on. She was rather cute, and by the looks of it, Syrathic had noticed this as well. </font>

<font color=silver>ooc: Most standard gear is readily available here -- as long as folks are reasonable about the kind of things that would be found in an underground enclave of gnomes, I have no problem with them purchasing what they'd like and posting to that effect.

I'm also open to more unusual and even some magic items being available -- if there is interest in anything like that, however, I need to have specifics to work with as preparing lists of suitable magic without a good idea of what folks want is very labor intensive.</font>

<font color=turquoise>For Dantes</font>

<font color=thistle>Eyes have been fixed upon the group from the moment of their arrival, cautious and curious eyes that seek to gauge the character and mettle of this strange band of travelers. The eyes notice nothing of the usual swagger and bluster that comes with armed bands of surfacers. There is steel about them though, the steel of faces that have seen horrors and have managed somehow to live. Eyes turn from the group to communicate with other eyes and a cautious and curious whisper runs through the settlement – “Here among us ..... it just might be ...... yes, it must be ...... they have fought against that One whose modding extended even into the dark places.” As is the mysterious way of whispers, before Dantes has reached the place of the Clanmaster, those inside are aware of who it is that comes.

As is their custom, the guards first return his greeting with the silent steel of their appraising eyes. He is younger than they have expected, at least in the physical cast of his features. But he has those same curiously ageless eyes as so many on the board above have possessed. There is a difference in this man’s eyes, however, for these are eyes that have seen genuine hardship and terrible struggle. The guard captain steps forward and returns the visitor’s gesture of greeting with his own and, in the best upper common he can muster, speaks the words that are addressed to surfacers that are worthy of respect, “You are welcome here and although you stand in place far from the sun of your home you will find that the warmth of friendship is not lacking here.”

<font color=lime>For Morguerat</font>

Any lingering doubts as to the identity of their visitors fade once eyes meet the solemn figure of the tall man who leads the tightly bound prisoner behind him. Even though neither hostility nor anger are evident in his features and his bearing, eyes do not look long at his face for it is marked with the lines of a deep sorrow and a great loss. The whisper that has preceded Dantes to the hall of the Clanmaster picks up an echo as the one who was at one time a knight passes. “The Fallen ..... the Fallen walks with them .....”

At his approach, the guards shift their eyes from Dantes to greet him. Stepping forward the guard Captain draws his weapon in salute of this most unusual of visitors. “You are the Fallen, the Betrayer, the one whose fall preceded the fall of the One called Larry. Even in this place we have heard of your loss.” There is nothing else to say and so the Captain falls silent.

For <font color=turquoise>Dantes</font> and <font color=lime> Morguerat</font>

At a signal from the Captain, the stone doors are swung open and a well-equipped soldier escorts the visitors into the hall where the Clanmaster and his elders have just finished listening to the tale Cedrick has brought them.</font>

<font color=silver>ooc: You can assume that the niceties of greetings and introductions have been made in your posts and that the 2 of you are being given the opportunity to speak first. Despite the concern in their faces, there is also a great curiosity about the two of you that is easily visible in their eyes.</font>

Dantes 76/76
Though more used to addressing others under the heat of battle Dantes was equally well endowed with flowery diplomatic skills, having served as a court wizard at times for more than one king. Dantes, his cloak flowing around him in an almost hypnotic pattern, bowed low to the assembled group.
Addressing the group in their own tongue Dantes began, "Thank you for your gratious hospitality thus far. We seek to purchase a few supplies from your good people. We also seek to gain whatever information you are able to furnish about the menace that is plaguing the Underdark. We feel that it is in some way related to our own quest. We seek to find the means to destroy or contain an unyeilding hunger that lies in the hills above us, devouring anything that comes in its path. This hunger is insatiable and did not stop in devouring people, spells, and magic items on the surface. Its reach is ever growing, and it is reaching into the underdark. My friend Dankorona already the touch of this hunger, and he lost a good number of his fellow gnomes in teh process. Any information you might have on this could help us greatly in our task. We seek only to rid the land of this terrible hunger before it is too late." Dantes let his words weigh on the assembled gnomes as he locked eyes with the one that he presumed was their leader. Dantes gaze did not challenge the gnome directly, but there was definitely a question in it wating to be answered.

Dankorona felt at home immediately upon entering this town. The sites, the smells, and the atmopshere reminded him of home. Dankorona reflected on memories of his own home. It had been such a nice cozy place. This wasn't the first time the gnome questioned the path that he chose. He wasn't a warrior, or a great mage, or a good archer, or even an accomplished theif. The grimlock he had "killed", impalled itself on its own axe.
'Well, being lucky was better than being skilled', he rationalized. Though he questioned the path he had choosen, he never doubted it. He didn't know what use he would be to the party, but he was determined to do what he could. he wentover his belonging tofind that his little knife for cooking was gone, as was his money pouch. He wondered what happened to them, especially the money, but they were gone and there was nothing he could do about it. He gathered his jewels and walked over to the smith prepared to barter for a better hammer, and a new cooking knife,a s well as some other items he figured he would need.

Syrathic nodded to himself in acknowledge of Ruby's request. "Well, I'll see what I can do. I can't guarantee that I can get everything for you, but I'll try my best. I do have an extra knife on me if that'll do instead of a dagger," he thought back to her.

Kellor looked at the Elf. "You mentioned throwing knives? The Smith here has some available for trade. Although it'll take more than just that one gem to get them."

Syrathic nodded. "Let me see one first, then I'll decide if it's worth my gems." The Smith handed him one of the knives and Syrathic examined it carefully. It was well balanced and light; it felt like high quality. Looking around quickly, he saw a piece of wood sitting alone, out of the way of everyone. With a quick spin and throw, he let loose the knife, and it flew straight for the wood. Thunk! Syrathic nodded to himself as he spied the knife right in the middle, just as he aimed it. "I suppose these will do," he said to the surprised Gnomes, acting as if they were nothing special. But he was excited at the prospect of obtaining knives of this quality."How many you do you have available?"

Kellor turned and spoke to the Smith. "He says he has twenty-five of the quality of the one you just threw, including that one. He says three gems will get you all of them."

The Elf nearly dropped the gem in his hand. "Three gems! For just twenty-five knives? Unless they're magical, there's no way I'll pay that much! I'll give you this gem, no more." He held out the diamond at the gnome, whose eyes bulged slightly at the sight.

Kellor consulted with the Smith. "He says he'll settle for two gems."

Syrathic shook his head and held out the two gems. "No. One. They're not magical."

The smith looked at the gem greedily, then at the knives, thought about it for a few moments, then turned to Kellor. "He says he'll settle for just that one," Kellor translated before smiling. "He says you're a shrewd negotiator."

Syrathic smiled and nodded, then retrieved the knife he had thrown. "Thank you. Now let's go look for healing potions."</font>

<font color=thistle>The gibbering of the mouths is as aggressive as it is incoherent, an insistent and demanding cacophony that fills the air around the woman’s ears. The woman, however, does not respond and with great effort resists the cries for attention in the lunacy that alternately screams and whispers around her. The voices grow even more demanding, varying both tone and intensity in the hope of commanding at least a little of her concentration but there is an aloofness about her mind that is both resolute and frustrating. Anger builds within the creature, an anger of a very cunning character. Let the woman resist and preserve her mind, but there other ways of attracting attention. The creature shifts, its strangely amorphous form spreading out over the stone of the cavern floor, embracing the stone with a touch that softens it. Even as it does this, a number of the mouths close a moment to gather bile which they suddenly spit into the air in front of the woman. As the bile strikes the air it bursts into a brilliant flare of light, a light bright enough to blind the unprepared.</font>

The former knight smiles briefly, although it is a pained smile, it is one he has trained himself to wear through pain, both physical and emotional, and the reminder of his pain both in addressing him as the Fallen, and the looks of mixed awe and pity inflict more pain upon him than the axe-wound the Grimlocks gave him. But he smiled, painful as it was, the loss was his to bear, and he would accept pity from no man, or woman.

Noble gnomes,” he says looking at the guard captain, and Clanmaster, as well as the others, “I would that the news we bear was good, but I fear that the recovery of three of your men is the only good news we bear. The large man kneels down as he speaks, bowing low in a show of respect and subservience, a mannerism largely held over from his days as a paladin, serving the Order of Keldorn, like much of these boards a now largely extinct organization, but the training was ingrained in him and as such would likely remain part of him for many years.</font>

<font color=lightgreen>Syrathic HP:45/74

Syrathic followed Kellor into a store. "You can obtain potions here," he said to the Elf. "You can find both healing potions and antidotes for poison in this store."

The Elf nodded and perused the selections. "Well, how many of each are available?"

Kellor turned and consulted with the shopkeeper. "He says he's got six healing potions and three antidotes."

Syrathic looked around again. "Are there any potions of invisibility, by chance? Those would be extrememly useful to one such as me," he remarked casually.

"A bit of a rogue, eh? You won't find those here, but..." Kellor paused to smile deviously, "I could get you in contact with those who could help one such as yourself."

Syrathic smiled and nodded back. "Well, let me buy these potions first, then we'll meet your 'friends.' These are just as important in some ways. I'm going to want all that he has available."

Kellor turned to the shopkeeper again while Syrathic began to grab gems from inside his cloak. The shopkeeper's eyes sparkled as he saw them. "He says that he hopes you have more than just those three gems there," Kellor translated. "He says a gem per potion."

The Elf winced. That was expensive, he thought. He only had twenty gems: his six (minus the ruby he had given to Ruby), Ruby's seven, and Morguerat's seven. He would still need some for the bartering for invisibility potions, which probably wouldn't be any cheaper. He reached into his cloak and pulled out three more gems. "I'll give you six," he said.

The shopkeeper didn't hesitate. He shook his head. "He says no. One each," Kellor translated again.

Syrathic made a show of rummaging around for another gem. "I'll give him seven."

Kellor turned to the shopkeeper again. "He says he'll make you a deal. The three antidotes for two gems, bring the cost down to eight. These healing potions are strong and hard to obtain. You won't get them for less than a gem for each one. He says it's actually lower a price than what he would normally charge."

Syrathic nodded. He knew the value of healing potions. "Okay, it's a deal. He reached into his cloak and pulled out another gem, and the shopkeeper smiled as he gathered the gems. The Elf then grabbed the potions and hid them in his cloak. He then turned to Kellor. "Let's go meet these 'friends' of yours now."</font>

For <font color=turquoise>Dantes</font> and <font color=lime>Morguerat</font>

<font color=thistle>The Clanmaster’s eyes narrow a moment in serious appraisal of these most unusual visitors. Within these two men who stand before him are, it seems, all that is so capable in surfacers of both triumph and tragedy. He dwells on this thought a moment noting that there is a boldness and nobility about this risky venture of theirs, but none of the mad recklessness of that one who brought the storms and with such violence used his very life as if it were nothing more than a weapon. His glance then turns to the sober faces of his advisors. Caught between triumph and tragedy – yes much hangs in the balance here. “You await information,” he says to the mage, “and such information as is ours to give you shall have. But I would first hear this news you bring so that I may know how best to answer you.”</font>

Brendon looked over the wares that were presented to him. He saw nothing that he *had* to have, and decided to save his money. Seeing Syrathic leave one merchant-looking guy, Brendon decided to check that place out next. What he found was no better than the last place, plus it appeared that Syrathic had bought up all the potions that this man was desirable to sell.

The rest, he wanted for his own family. Finally fed up with trying to find something of value to himself here, Brendon started out for where he'd seen the lady-elf. It was beginning to become more curious as to what she might be doing down here and where she planned to go.

Syrathic followed Kellor out of the store as Brendon walked in. "Have you seen anyone else, Brendon? I haven't seen anyone around since I started shopping. Ruby's hiding somewhere, so I doubt you could find her around. I think Morguerat and Dantes went to talk to the elders, and if I'm not mistaken, Dankorona with them," he said. "And I haven't seen Anarrima since she left to find Morguerat and Dantes. I wonder where she went?" Syrathic shrugged. "I still have a few things to do myself. Ruby asked me to buy some things for her, and Kellor here is taking me to a place where I can get some, uh... helpful items for myself. I'll meet you back by the Smith when I'm done."

Kellor led the Elf to a tavern a little ways away from the rest of the stores. "This is the place. Let me do the talking," Kellor said. "They're a bit suspicious, as you would expect."

Syrathic nodded and followed the Gnome inside the tavern. Kellor went up to the only table that was occupied and started a casual conversation while the Elf hung back. Finally, Kellor pointed at the Elf and the Gnomes at the table nodded, meaning that Syrathic could approach. "They say they can help you out," Kellor explained. "They were a little unsure at first, but I convinced them you were okay. They said they have a couple of things that might interest you, if you have the gems to pay for them."

One of the Gnomes pulled out three potions and set them on the table. "Potions of invisibility," Kellor explained. Syrathic nodded and began rummaging in his cloak for gems. He set three on the table and the Gnomes murmured. "You're going to need more than that," Kellor translated.

Syrathic sighed to himself. He had been hoping to get lucky, but it looked like these Gnomes knew the price of their wares. He pulled out two more gems. "This should be more than enough, if I can judge their value correctly."

The Gnomes at the table nodded and then said something to Kellor. "They say that they agree to the price, and for showing that you understand their value, they have something else to show you." One of the Gnomes pulled out a dagger. "This dagger will help you see clearly in the darkness of the Underdark. Eight gems will get you it and the three potions, if you'd like to purchase this dagger."

Syrathic's eyes lit up as he saw the blue-bladed dagger. Even in the lighted tavern, it had a glow of its own. "Only three gems for it? I'd be stupid not to take the deal." Syrathic nodded excitedly and brought out three more gems. "I'll take it."

Outside the tavern, Syrathic turned to Kellor once more. "One of my companions needs some other types of items. Can you help me out with acquiring them?" he asked, telling him about Ruby's request.</font>

As he concludes his tale of ill portents he shows the gnomes some of the teeth he harvested, as well as the claws. "I know the dragon fought for a noble cause, and forfeit it's life as a result, I desire to allow part of it to continue the fight, these claws were severly damaged in it's battle, and I would like to have them strengthened so they could be affixed to a lance, to this end I require a coating of metal to be placed upon it, I would prefer the rare metal, Mithril, but I am realistic and know you probably would be unable to provide it, an alloy of silver and the finest steel would be fine, but my needs require a rare craftsmanship, a level of which would allow the weapons to be later enchanted. <font color=indianred>Brendon Grey</font>
<font color=silver>
Brendon looked around after he spoke with Syrathic until he found the elven lady at work outside the residence of a gnome. Being a bit bashful, but shrugging that aside as best he could, he approached her and began to talk.</font>

<font color=indianred>Brendon: "Hello! My name is Brendon Grey."</font>

<font color=orchid>Anarimma: "Well met, travellor. I am Anarrima Culurien, resident of Evermeet. I have spoken with one of your friends...Syrathic, I believe."</font>

<font color=indianred>Brendon: "Er...yes, ma'am. We are passing through these tunnels because the mountains were unpassable. Tell me, how have you come about being here?"</font>

<font color=orchid>Anarimma: "It is a terrible story to relate now. Let it suffice to say that I wish to be gone from this dismal world as soon as possible, and would like to offer my services as a Cleric of my Lady, Ahurani Fairhand to your group, should you allow me to travel with you."</font>

<font color=indianred>Brendon: "Well, okay by me...we need a Cleric for sure...so...let me take you to meet Morgeraut and Dantes. They are leading this expedition and would certainly like to be counselled with concerning a new party member. Will you follow me?"</font>

<font color=silver>Anarimma finishes the job she was laboring in, gets paid her wage and sets off with Brendon in search of the others. </font>

OOC:I am not the leader Morgy is.

Morgeruat 02-20-2003 08:42 PM

OOC: LOL, I pretend to be leader one time and look at the mess I get myself into, but it's always a good idea to get a better consensus and see if the party as a whole will accept or trust her... oh yes, Morguerat is a very trusting soul ;)

<font color=silver>ooc: <font color=turquoise>DMs Note</font> - I'm making the following 2 clerical spells available for use by Anarimma. They are taken and adapted from a 1st edition AD&D website.</font>

<font color=white>Healing Sleep</font>

<font color=darkseagreen>Level: 4
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: 1"
Duration: 8 hours
Area of Effect: 1 creature per level
Components: V,S
Saving Throw: N/A

This spell is cast upon a creature or creatures just before they go to sleep. It encourages and promotes healing during this sleep. If the target creature(s) sleep for an uninterrupted 8 hours then they are healed for a number of hit-points equal to the level of the cleric. Each target creature should be treated separately with regard to the amount of time it has slept, so it is possible that some of them could be woken early and not gain the advantage of this spell, while others from the same group may sleep long enough to receive its full benefit. This spell may only be cast once within a 24 hour period.

<font color=white>Power Sleep</font>

Level: 4
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: 20 ft
Duration: 1 hour
Area of Effect: 1 person/2 levels
Components: V,S,M
Saving Throw: N/A

When the cleric casts this spell, a number of persons can be caused to fall into a deep sleep for one hour. This sleep is so restful that it is equivalent to a full night's rest (i.e., 8 hours). Upon waking, any recipient of the spell who is a spell caster may memorise spells anew. Furthermore, all recipients heal 1 point of previously sustained damage as if they had rested a full night. Note that the cleric must designate the recipients of the spell, which may include him- or herself. Finally, note that the spell may be cast no more than once each 24 hours.</font>

<font color=skyblue>As the herbs trickle to the ground, smoke arises from their contact with the cold stone and the rune upon her hand......The smoke fills the tunnel, carrying a certain.... smell..... with it. Her eyes turn to silver, cutting through the smoke as she watches the creature. </font>

<font color=lightgreen>Syrathic finally finished his shopping and sat down to relax for a moment near the Smith, where he had told Brendon he would be. Kellor had managed to track down the items that Ruby had requested, and Syrathic used the money from Dankorona's money pouch to pay for those items. No need to waste gems on such mundane items. "Ruby, I have your items," he thought, hoping she'd get the message. Then the Elf sat and waited to see who would show up, hoping to see the cute Elf cleric again.</font>

<font color=lime>For Dantes and Morguerat</font>

<font color=thistle>Although Clanmaster and the others are silent as the Fallen speaks, the expressiveness of their faces says much. The words of the grim man are received with great interest. Surprisingly, it is word of the quarried stone the provokes a verbal reaction as several of the gathered gnomes gasp at this news and the Clanmaster mumbles softly in his own tongue in response. As the Fallen finishes his account and makes his request, the Clanmaster points to one of his advisors and explains that the elderly gnome can arrange for such work do be done although the work itself may well take several days. “We shall do this for you in thanks for the return of our fellows.”

Speaking to his two visitors, the Clanmaster continues, “This Euryale is known to us, although none among us have seen her. She is other than a grimlock but I know little more than that. Her servants have raided these tunnels for some time and it seems that they have acquired the aid of some of those dark things that were not destroyed when the one who called the storms flooded the tunnels near the mountains. Cedrick, of course, had already informed us of ...... Adalon .......” he falls silent.

“Giants,” one of the others says. “It had to be the giants.”
“There are no giants in these caverns,” another interjects.
“The elf, she said it was giants that destroyed the drow,” adds a third.
“What would a surfacer know? ...... er ...... no offense to our visitors of course.”
“She was there!”

The argument continues a few moments until an elderly gnome, obviously blind speaks softly. “Terrakis, it is Terrakis.”

There is silence for a moment, before the argument resumes.

“But Terrakis is a myth, a story we tell to frightened younglings around the hearth.”
“But I have heard other stories ......”
“Yes, I have too.”
“...... stories of a giant stern and mighty even among his own kind who led his fellows into places deep into the earth in search of power .......”
“....... but the stories say the darkness consumed him, destroyed them all.”

“It would seem,” the elderly gnome interjects softly, “that the ancient nightmare has awakened. None but Terrakis could destroy so mighty a champion as Adalon with such ease and none would be so ruthlessly willing to do so simply to possess stone.”

At these words all fall silent.</font>

ruby wakes from the peaceful nap she had been taking. with a lion licking her hair it is hard to sleep. *hunting??? oh right you want a mouse. let me see if ihave one more. syrathic should be done by now but i think i've got one still alive.*

reaching into her bag of holding she pulls out a little square cage. inside are two dead mice and one rat feeding off their bodies. *trust leaving rats and mice together!* she pulls the rat out and sets it on the ground.

it starts to run as wyrd watches it impatiently. when it has gotten so far that ruby cannot see it, wyrd starts off running after it hardly even taking time to stand up before galloping.

laughing ruby decides to enter the town and wander around until she finds syrathic. crossing her fingers that she does not run into too many ppl on her way, she sets off the way she came. leaving her seclusion was a tough decision, but she was sure she did not wish to try syrathics patience with constant mind linking.

<font color=silver>ooc: Morgeruat, take your time. Serious illness is no small thing, especially in the case of an elderly and close family member. Having to deal with it from a distance can't be easy. My prayers will certainly be with you and your grandfather, as well as the rest of your family, over the coming days.</font>

Dantes: hp 76/76

Dantes looked at the assembled party, and then glanced at Morgeraut a moment before speaking, as always the fallen paladin wore a grim, beleaguered face. Dantes calmly addressed the assembly,
"I thank you for your help as well as you hospitality. Yet the evil we face is great, and our numbers dwindling." Dantes bows low as he continues, "So, I have no choice but to ask for a bit more help," with that he rises from the bow and looks at all the assembly one by oen in the eye as he speaks. "I have heard tales of the power of the gnomes' earthen magic. I have also heard some speak of a magical jewel that could summon an earth elemental to the owner's aid, but is consumed upon the summonsing. IF you posses this magic, I pray you allow us to use it, to the benefit of all creatures of the forum. I would but ask one small thing in addition, that being all the information you have on this Euryale as well as this Terrakis."
Dantes tried to make his need show in his face and his voice as he spoke to the assembly, hoping that they would honor his request.

<font color=indianred>Brendon and <font color=orchid>Anarrima</font>

Brendon and Anarrima passed through the settlement as Anarrima told Brendon about the area and living with the gnomes. Brendon just listened, as he was always fascinated in such things...and ladies with pretty accents in their voices...

Soon after, they came upon Syrathic, who was seemed to be waiting for them.

"Oh...hey! I...I suppose we should go into the building now and be diplomats along side the others? Have they not come out yet?"</font>

<font color=silver>ooc: A quick note -- I'm leaving town tonight for 2 days of heavy meetings and I'm also trying to finish off a large writing project that needs to be in by Saturday. That being the case, my posting rate here will be very slow this week.</font>
