It's like that commercial where the computer tells the guy "You have reached the end of the internet. You have seen all there is to see. Please go back now."

'course that commercial always disturbed me 'cuz there are tons of porn sites, right? This guy is surfing in his living room with his kids and wife. Is there something wrong with this picture???

Huzzah, I feel the same way, when I'm not busy killing off players in my own 2nd ed game

lol, Kat, you did indeed see dancing lobsters, for I am their lord, and they follow me and serve my bidding.

We had a rather interesting session of PnP AD&D last night, I didn't even get a chance to kill off any of the party (they're running around in Ravenloft) the party's elven archer killed the thief over a missing dagger of venom that he didn't have, he also failed a dark powers check and his eyes now glow like burning embers at night (the 60 foot infravision he got in return wasn't helpful as he is elven and has infravision already) but in the end they were able to revive the thief (he's got a few surprises since spells work slightly differently in ravenloft), and the party almost got eaten by jackalweres (they haven't identified them as such and think they've all been bitten by werewolves)

the weather was quite interesting last night, and wet, I almost had to stand guard for four hours at the Arms Room, since the armorer is an idiot and broke the alarm(we would have been guarding it without weapons or ammo, and a phone in another room) but they finally go tthe alarm fixed before my shift was due to come along.

No problem Moose, happens all the time really! ;) Kaltia laughter is a cure for just about everything isn't it? I hope your grandfather will be back home Monday! LMAO Johnny! I haven't gotten that message yet, but it'll probably pop up soon as long as i'm here. Moose I don't think that was the point of the commercial... And Attalus I assume Lady Gal is really into physical training. 20 miles just under two hours??? That's pretty good! Better than me that's for sure! :D

'lo all

Is my underwear dry yet?

Attalus 10-26-2002 03:22 PM

Afternoon, everybody. Jeesh, I thought it was supposed to be Saturday.

EDIT: Aargh, what happened to my avatar? Now I'll never be a 20th level warrior again. Dracolich next, I suppose.

G'day Att.
Got plans for the weekend? Taking the kids out? Gonna ride alongside Gal on her run? Lawns need mowing?

Attalus 10-26-2002 03:40 PM

Hi, Dunda, or G'day, mate, as your people are reputed to say. No, Galadria got back early from her run, "just" 10K today. We are decorating the house for Halloween, and changing closets because of the onset of cooler weather. How is it in the Antipodes?

Downunda 10-26-2002 03:46 PM

Blue skys from the mountains to the sea.
I wish Halloween was celebrated down here to the same extent. Seems to me that we have a try hard go at it and it just doesn't feel right

We've got guy fawkes coming up in November though, which I find a bit more fun.

ah Att, do you have to go to all that trouble? I mean, you could just leer at the poor children, and if they didnt get the hint, swing a two handed sword nearby... *snigger* sorry, too good to resist.

Kaltia 10-26-2002 04:20 PM
