<font color=plum>Yes, <font color=yellow>Yorick</font>, that tells me how the people in the STATE voted, but it does NOTHING to dispel my assertion about the "elitist attitude" among the residents of NYC - which was almost completley <font color=deepskyblue>True Blue</font> in their voting. In fact, I even mentioned earlier in the argument that the insults being bantered about actually applied to many residents of their own state, since several counties in New York actually voted <font color=red>Red</font>.

So I present you with my challenge one last time. When you return to New York City, pick ANY residents you wish and actually ASK them for their attitude towards the voters from "<font color=red>Red America</font>". As I said, I will be happy to be proven wrong, but I think you will find my comments are far more accurate than you care to admit.</font>

Funny stuff, But what is really funny is that the Blue Stater's, you know the liberal ones that scream and shout to the mountain tops about infranchising the poor, underprivilaged, and undereducated. Really are now complaining because the Poor, underprivilaged, and undereducated exercised their infranchisment and voted agianst what the Blue stater's wanted. I guess infranchising is only good if the infranchised exercise their infranchisment in the manner the Blue Stater's want. I've seen and heard of the Blue Stater's so upset they are calling for the Red States to Cecede, imagine that working to give people a voice, a voice of their own then being upset that they have a differant voice then the one you want them to have? Just exactly how does that square with infranchising, is it "We want you to have a voice as long as the Voice is the one we want." ;)

I don't see anything wrong with being Elitist for Elitist sake, Where a problem comes in is being elitist about something, and not alowing others to be elitist about the opposite. It's called Hypocrocisy.

Hiero, you brought some perfect examples, I ask by what standards are the exmples based on? What is smart, graceful, beautiful, strong, and articulate to some maybe simple-minded, oafish, ugly, weak, and easily-duped to others. So if somebody is of the mind set that we must be tolerant,respect diversity, and others point of view, yet they turn around and don't do that, there in becomes a problem. To ME it would be simple-minded, oafish, ugly, weak and easily-duped, to beleive in totlerance, and diversity yet hold others in comtempt because they are diverse from the postion of one's self. <font color=plum>I was watching Smoking Gun - the TV show last night and heard one of the most hilarious (yet sad) commentaries I think I've ever heard in my life.

One of the "incidents" they discussed was Janet Jackson and her "wardrobe malfunction" at the Superbowl. They discussed the fine levied against CBS and other factors, then played a portion of an interview that Janet Jackson gave explaining all the hoopla over the incident.

She said it was the fault of President Bush and his staff. They focused attention on her "mishap" in order to remove attention from themselves. And she said that the Michael Moore's film F9/11 confirmed all her suspicions about George Bush and his family.
