I don't think you'll have to worry...
Your login name (the one you used to register over here) can't change, only the publicly displayed name. But if Ziroc ever decides to disable this function, the difference between publically displayed name and login name will disappear and everyone will have their original username again. ;)

I know you can do this on MH and it won't let you change your display name to one that is used by another registered user. You shouldn't have to worry about impersonations.
