Re: Stinking Cloud
After reading up on the Grimlocks and their weaknesses, I will assume that the Stinking Cloud will act like a globe of darkness over thier perception as well as the nausia that is associated with the cloud. The penalty for thier "blindness" is not 100%, since they still haved their superior hearing. Az, when you cast a spell, try to be as specific as possible, and know that you are allowed a certain point of creativity in making judgement of the size of the cavern, and where monsters are unless I specifically mention to the contrary...and this will help me map out results for us. |
Well right now I imagine Dantes just outside the main host of grimlocks. I plan on moving more into their midst before I unleash my next spell. But I am waiting on others to post their actions first, so as not to get ahead of the rest of the party. Please be kind I only have so many skins ;) Am I also to assume, as previous indicated by the belch spell, that they are more susceptible to sound based attacks as well? Basically I'm going to be bringing a shout spell followed by a stinking cloud. I think that will really mess them up. Then I'm jst going to start unloading offensive spells until they all die.

Er...I am the wrong person to ask advice from.
I am trying to kill you. I will let one of your comrads answer your question. :D |
Morgie...I have not received an e-mail from you, but it appears that Cyril has, so I will just play off of what I have until I can get some more info from either of you.
Until then, just let me know what is going on so I can make the movements on my NWN mod, and I will place you under the "good faith" rule. ;) By the way, you guys should see this mod/map! There's little critters everywhere! Doom! Doom! Doom! |
Larry: Morgeruat, Legolas and SecretMaster have all PMed me their character specifics. Any necessary preliminary adjustments have been made and the characters are ready to go.

You guys might not believe this, but I am actually playing a "chance" game with us all! I have all these models of the Grimlocks on the board, and it is by chance that I move them wherever they go, as though they were choosing their own paths,,,as well as the "Champions" are mingled in and I do not even know which ones are the champions at the time that I move them. I hope everyone is enjoying this as much as I. I have never pulled off anything of this magnitude before, and it is a joyous labor.

TAO It is great to see you have returned! This thread serves as the place that you can post stuff that does not pertain to the actual role-play of the game, and is the meeting house of all those involved in LoF. Get up with Cyril so you can get winged back in. I do not know if you want to die in the war that I am waging or not! Lol! Cyril has his own area to run after my battle, and maybe he can suggest a safer place for your character to make a comeback! Or...you can die and be eaten by a Grimlock like everybody else will.
Oops. Did I write that out in the open! Sorry! No, really! Everyone has a chance to win! Honest! |
Quick note; the fireball I cast will also expand to fill it's full volume, so if there is a cavern wall behind it, it will grow to the sides and front to reach it's full volume, possibly cooking me as well (just a note for you Larry since I'm fairly sure the mechanics were changed in 3E, and wanted to make sure we have the same understanding of the spell)(damage is 10d6, but I don't have any dice in front of me so I can't roll right now, I can pm it to you later, or you can roll if you prefer)

It never hurts to be invisible though, you never know what else is out there other than grimlocks.
