It was a distraction, well he side-stepped she lunges forward as if to leap into his arms but her sword is pointed straight at his heart. If he ducked she would get him in the head, jumping she'd get him in the groin, and it was too late to cast any magic. Unless he was gymnast as well, all he could do was stand in horror. ~
