Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
I really do think that Kensai is the turned-evil villain. My idea?
Hiro's love of the swordsmith's daughter causes him to do things, and by things, I mean becoming Kensai, and leaving the other guy in the dust, so to speak. So, as hiro is about to travel home, inexplicable circumstances either A) Cause Kensai to follow hiro through time, or B)Kensai is immune to age. Classic. I did think it was funny, though, when Sylar took the girl's power, and she became overweight. Wonder what that would have looked like at the doctors office... Doctor: Let's see, you're 5' 1" and... 300 lbs?! There must be something wrong with the scale! :D |
Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
Well to be technical, she didn't "become" overweight.
It just happened that her powers of illusion wore off when she no longer had a brain. Still you'd think the company would know better than to take chances with Sylar after their first encounter. Besides I thought they were supposed to axe the dangerous ones. Or does that simply mean, those that are dangerous to the company? In which case, either way why do they let Sylar live. And while the swordsmith's daughter isn't aware immediately that Hiro posed as Takezo in the grove, she's not stupid. She's bound to figure it out eventually. |
Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
I think what Sylar did was all illusion. Of course, he believes it to be real but, what is the girls ability...
If they have him there, where ever that is, they know he's a psycho. They wouldn't just leave him alone with the girl. Kensai did not kill Hiro's dad IMHO. The regeneration ability would not have worked that fast. It was someone who could fly, or someone who could teleport. Ando is the real enigma to me. I would pay very close attention to him; but again that's just me. |
Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
I don't think helping out Sylar was an authorized "mission". She was around at the end of season 1. She saw him laying there and she's the one that dragged him in the sewers. She was probably hoping she could befriend him by taking care of him.
And he'll never be a good villain if he doesn't have minions. Illusions also sounds a lot more fun if someone else is doing them than if you do them yourself. Still, Sylar with the power of illusions? That's scary. |
Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
Hey have you guys been to the official website lately? It has links to other websites that the show has created to make the whole Heroes thing more real...like the official website to Petrelli's election, the paper company where Claire's dad left, etc. It is pretty darn neat. There's even info on Kensai here http://yamagatofellowship.org/videoEvents.shtml and there is also a blog by Hana that has what appear to be official Spanish newspaper clippings of reports of a mysterious virus coming out of Panama and killing people...

Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
Yeah the site is pretty good. Check out the Comics. There are about 50 of them with background and episode information.

Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
Looks like I was wrong about Kane being the "nightmare man". It seems Parkman's father (Maury Parkman) is the Nightmare Man!
Wonder who the unknowns on the 12-people picture are... |
Re: Heroes Season 2 - Spoilers Included
Seriously though, what is it with Sylar and roaches? There was one on Derek's body after he killed him.
