LB, yes, the junkmail box empties now and then, but for me it isn't often enough! I get so much spam mail that it clogs my account in a couple days sometimes. I empty junkmail every time I check in.

The only trouble with having time with family is described in my location (current/normal). I come from Hungary but right now I am studying for at least two years in France. But I do have friends here and I do have fun and even sometimes quality time with them. Well I'll see my family at Xmas anyway.

I also empty my junk every time I log in, so nearly every day, but I can definitely add, that a turkey would be sorted as "This is not junk mail" :D . Good food is always welcome, since the cantine here sometimes can be worse than worse.

Anything worse than worse has to be really bad.

Believe sometimes you just wish that you had not eat it, but usually the average is edibl if not good, but never anything near what my mother can make.

Maelakin 11-18-2003 11:22 AM

That's the problem when all the food comes in a can. That is one thing I hated at school. On Thanksgiving, they served Turkey dinners, but the turkey came out of a can...

How the hell can you package turkey in a can and expect it to still taste good??

dplax 11-18-2003 11:29 AM

How the heck do you fit a turkey into a can? Or was it a that big can?

edit: my 500th post now i'll just have to be happy with some stars for some time

They take as much meat off the turkey as they can, process it till it becomes a nice meat paste, then pack it in a can. Kind like the way they make sandwich meats.

dplax 11-18-2003 11:43 AM

Lol Firestormalpha.
Once we got meat from a 500 gramm can of which there was about 30 gramms which wasn't bone, skin or fat, so we sent it back with a complaint and got 24 cans of the same type. So I know what you mean.

Maelakin 11-18-2003 11:47 AM

Yea, I wouldn't call it turkey anymore. It's like ground turkey leftovers that have been smushed together until it sticks together. You know something is wrong with your meat when it crumbles at your touch.
