Wellard, I'd send you some of our heat, but in few months you'll have it, anyway! Ugh...mysterious clicking sounds in hard drives are baaaaaaaaaaaad.....been there, done that...don't want to repeat it! Hope yours is just a stray cricket or something! :D

LOL, I thought my PC was making a funny noise yesterday, and got all concerned, but it was just a sound effect of the site I was on.

Yow, I've never had a video card crash. *Knocks on wood* Prove totally inadequate is another thing. CD-ROM's and sound cards are another thing.

Cloudbringer 07-27-2003 08:25 AM

Never had a videocard crash but I've had plenty of hard drives that did! I think I've crashed at least 3 at the office over the last 10 yrs!

It's been OK, so far! Found a brace that lets me raceswalk without my knee hurting, and scored an Elrond action figure from the local drugstore. LOL, Will (my 4 year old) was very upset that I got it and he didn't. Threw a fit and got laughed at for his pains, but later came up to me and said, "Daddy, I'm glad you got Elwond."
