Yeah, antryg, we got it again about 11:00, and it is still drizzling. About the temp, it is 61 degrees here, doubt it will get a lot higher, so your work should be more pleasant. Kat, Mysticelt is MagiK's lady. Did you used to live in Dallas, Mysti?

Yeah Att, the weather is still rainy here as well but we are actually a little cooler than you at 57F. People always wonder why Texans can't handle cold weather. I'd like to see how well they deal with 95F and 90% humidity one day and the next 57F. This "wait an hour and the weather will change" is for the budgies.

Come on Mysti, regale us with stories of your time in Big D. :D

I see a member who has made his way back to the forums. Welcome back willard. Will we see riddles start to pop up yet again?

Just a news update. If yesterday was grey, today is full of sunshine. The change in my father is remarkable. He can now lift his right arm, his speech has improved and he can move his right leg slightly. He's been moved to rehabilitation after only one day. The only worries are his blood pressure (still much too high and is treated), a fever that will not break (he's on penicillin), he is having trouble with his left eye (which is new since it worked fine yesterday) and he still can't swallow properly. Hopefully his eye will start to normalize once more when the damage to the tissue surrounding the infarction will continue to improve. Our tears have been replaced with smiles and renewed hope. Things are looking up for my beloved father. Thus we are all feeling so much better. I hope I will have less trouble to sleep today which I am about to do soon.

Glad to hear everything is going well again with your father Willow. Tell him Johnny from Holland is having a brewski on his good health. ;) :D

Afternoon all. It's a beautiful if humid day here in SoCal. I got this Dickies dress yesterday, and while everyone said it was cute, they also said i looked like a waitress and/or a nurse, lol.

My dad just bought me Wizards First Rule. I assume its a good book?

I'll tell him but I don't think that will help. Jealousy you know. ;) We no longer drink coffee in his room since he really has a craving for a cup. The same goes for eating. He received his first food for two days, through a probe, and he had been sooo hungry before that. My mother reported that he now was more content, AND that he just passed his first test. He managed to raise his right arm four times on command from the neurologist. YAY! (OK I pretty much yelled that out here. ;) )

Good work, Willow!!! Give him my good wishes. Well, we are having redneck problems again. Not us, but our employees, LOL.
