Frances Adkisson, my beloved wife's mother, died this evening at 8:25 PM, CST. Requisat in pace.

I'm no poet, but this came to me yesterday as I tried to find words of comfort for <font color=deeppink>Galadria</font> and <font color=coral>Gammit</font>. The words are feeble, but I hope they will bring a small measure of comfort during this time of grief.</font>

How do you let go of someone so kind, loving, tender, and mild?
She brought you into this world, nurtured you, and watched you grow.
She guided you, cared for you, and taught you everything you know.
During the storms of life, she was your anchor, as solid as stone,
How can someone who was so strong now be gone?

The pain in your heart is so deep, will this wound ever heal?
Time is supposed to ease the pain, but you don't think it will.
A piece of your soul is gone and nothing will ever fill the emptiness there,
Does God know how bad you hurt? Does our Great Creator even care?
God does know your pain, for He had to watch His own son die.
And even God had to turn His back, so noone would see Him cry.

God knows your grief and His infinite love will see you through.
And in this time of deep despair, He has a message for you.
Your loved one isn't gone, she has simply moved on.
To enter the Gates of Heaven and be greeted by the Son.
As He wraps her in His arms and warmly says <font color=deepskyblue>"Welcome Home"</font>.</font>

My deepest condolences, may she rest in peace and God give you strength in your times of need.
