Times must have changed then. How many houses have crumbled under Israeli bulldozers by now, thousands ? Yet there are still bombers running all over the place.

We barely destroyed 400 buildings in gaza, in all the years we were there. The point is, that if we truly destroed 25% of gaza for 1 bombing, as should USA do, we would have no bombings at all. We destroyed 400 buildings for 1200 bombings/shooting/other TA. The efect is different. All at once is much more omnious than little in lots of time.

Hm... i'm not too sure. By destroying their houses, you only take away the roofs over their heads, and not their hatred and determination to kill you. Matter of fact, i think it's only increasing. The only thing you've accomplished then, is a delay of when the next bomb explodes. Instead of a bomber who had been sleeping in a bed in his own house the day before, it will now be done by a homeless bomber. I'm pretty sure the explosion will be just as devastating. ;)

What we are disagreeing about here is YOUR opinion, and that's subjective not objective. You appear to be claiming that I support terrorism. Time for you to put up or shut up.

I have to ask myself - who knows best if I support terrorists? Myself or some bloke on the internet who has never met me?

BTW - next month is the 25th anniversary of the day that Mountbatten was assassinated, and in a seperate attack 18 British soldiers killed by IRA bombs. Where was your indignation then? Did you know that your justice system refused to extradite confessed terrorists if their offence was deemed to be political?

"You Euros", "You terrorist supporters"? I thought you were a smart, discerning guy who usually refrained from generalisation and discrimination and who was capable of seeing both sides of an issue instead of adopting a blindly black-and-white viewpoint. If this is indicative of more widely spread feelings, then I am sickened and afraid. And really disappointed.

Sarah over and out.

Edit: grammar

I believe Timber was somewhat dehydrated - now he has found the drinking hole in the desert.

TL wrote: "More reason for you terrorist supporters to cheer" If you don't support terrorists in the first place His comments don't apply to you, they only apply to those that support terrorists. It would be like if somebody wrote: "More reasons for you killers of innocents supporters to cheer" would not apply to me even though I support the war and innocents are killed in any war. The reasons for the war are not to kill innocents, thought that is an unitended consquence of war. Now if it was writen : "More reason for you war supporters to cheer it would apply to me". And once it applies to me then I have to ask myself what parts of it then apply, and why?

Just some thunks for people to thunk on.

I would agree normally. But to my incredulity it has been brought to my attention that TL means me! It hadn't even crossed my mind that he could be so stupid as to believe this to be true!

And during the Indian Mutiny we just tied people to the front of a cannon and fired it! That soon stopped him!

Johnny that is partly because the houses the Israelis knock down don't belong to the Hamas nutjobs that come from Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Lebenon. Now were Israel to seriously go after this issue saying Damn the Torpedo's and taking out Syria and Lebenon and removing all Arabs from whatever new borders they would make...things would really change...instead they have been taking half steps....and trying to appease the terrorists....with as much luck as Nevile Chamberlain had in Appeasing Nazi Germany.. Yes there is some responsibility on both sides but the disproportionate number of deaths of innocent victims are on the side of the Israelis and not the Arabs.</font>

I was indignant. Lord Mountbatten was one of my personal heroes, He was a great leader in his time. I was shocked and very sad and I am glad that such incidents are much rarer now than they were.

As for the administration that did that...well it was one of our worst failures as president who was sumarrily slam dunked in the following election.</font>

You must remember, Donut that the mentality of indians was different. Furthermore the suisiders are a palestinian/japan thing neto. Apart from so called "war heroism" (charging against a tank with 2 grenades), we see no suisiders anywhere. The **** that send the suisiders, are not so keen to die. Also, the point of such a tactic is to cause people that did not loose their homes, to think: if i will not stop my neighboor from suisiding, my home will be next.
