Dan, I think Argus is right. When I collected for the wedding gifts I had to open a Paypal acct.. (wow...wonder if it's still active or I can remember pw's?!) anyway, one thing that I found out was if anyone pays with a credit card or your balance transfered in goes over $100 in a month you need the premier acct. I don't recall if 2% is the amount of the fees, it may be that now. I seem to recall it being 1.66 or some weird fraction and that amount is deducted from all transactions coming in...might only be those over $20, I'm not sure.. but Paypal can tell you. In fact if your acct gets more than $100 in a month or someone pays with the credit card, they'll email you about it!

The 2% or whatever it is though is only deducted from what you receive. As far as I could tell there's no upfront/fixed cost to worry about. I would suggest bumping up to premier...with 5000 members based around the world it might be the cheapest and most efficient way to manage donations.

That's what I meant by there being a limitation on credit card orders. If you use a bank account, it will go through. I think the card feature is $100 a month. I thought it was per transaction, but it may be overall. I do know that I can send to multiple users though and there is a limit of $5000 in that respect (over 6 months). I am not a seller, just a buyer, so don't know it completely.
