Maybe I can take something to boost that stat temporarily. I don't wish to become addicted to anything however. [ 05-07-2004, 12:02 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |
The alternative, pritchke, is to use a character editor, but you have to be cautious. Character editing can be as adictive as the in game drugs.

Oh yeah... I think its energy cells not microfussion cells i think that is needed for your car.. you just equip your cells then target them in your front hood of your car. There is plenty to go around in so dont worry about running out of cells. |
It's both.
One point of Micro Fusion Cells gives 1% of fuel. One point of Fusion Cells gives 2% of fuel. You cannot re-fuel your car by targetting it with the cells. It's written in the readme for crying out loud! You have to use your inventory icon. |

If you are afraid of being addicted: save first, take one pill, get addicted -> reload I didn't found buffout, mentats or psycho especially addictive, my characters got addicted to them maybe in one of the 7-8 cases. But jet is far more dangerous, it has around 50/50 chance of addiction, and its addiction lasts almost indefinately, (I had a character once addicted to jet and I was pushing him around the wastes for three gameplay years, never letting him taste another jet, yet he never became clean again, so I dumped him and started another game) Quote:
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Chosen One's future wife lives in Modoc in her father's house. And her name is... MIRIA ! To get her, your character should have decent CH, IN and not too shabby speech skill. Then play a shy, innocent guy, she obviously falls on that. Oh, and a word of advice. If you are a pack rat (nothing to do with the perk), empty entire characters inventory on/in some shelf/locker/trunk, BEFORE you go talk to her, unless you want to spend valuable gaming time cussing and picking up every single ammo pack, stimpak, drug and other inventory items from the floor. As you wander through the Wasteland, look around for a deck of marked cards and check out its description. I am curious if you will know the movie referenced by the description, because no site I have seen has that reference listed. What a shame...and such a good movie, too. Yanez,
Jet addiction is PERMANENT. There is a side-quest involved where your character helps create the cure for Jet. You will need high points in the Doctor skill and at least 8 INT to succeed in the quest. ~~~~ ~~~~ Whether you get a husband or wife depends on the gender of your character. They are brother and sister, so choose appropriately and be on your merry way to marriage. Although I seem to recall it was possible to have a lesbian marriage. Not sure how it goes about though. ~~~~ ~~~~ Harkoliar, if you are referring to the Cat's Paw magazine quest, all I can say is, just keep an eye out to spot them. |
