Actually, some of the best villians are the ones that you don't see, just get hints of. I did like that about BG1; some nameless enemy is entering your dreams and torments you. You have no idea who it is until much later in the game, and then you still don't see him. Always out of sight, yet omnipresent. Very forboding.

I also agree on Liquid Snake. Teriffic voice acting. I think the same guy did Drizzt in BG2.

I liked Mantis more, just something about him made me sad about killing him

Sephiroth was pretty cool/evil :D

At the moment, it's Maester Seymour from FFX. He acts like a big girl but he's got some really evvvilll intentions :D

A name we all avoided using here, in order to prevent people from getting spoiled ;)

I think that Sephiroth is a good baddy, personally. But then I love FF, heheh ;)

Mangar from the First Bards Tale.

It was years ago when I first played this game and I was about 11 and just getting into pc games. The threat of him hung over me for weeks while I went through the game (no spoilers back then) and when I got to the top floor of his tower and met the balrogs and then Mangar himself...

What a great feeling to actually beat him and I wish more games could create the excitment that game gave me. Actually played it again about three years ago and was still thrilled to see him again in glorious four colour cga
