I hope that they did not make it too hard for the veterans to play.

The reviews on it aren't too good. I heard that there are too many micromanagement.

Legolas 02-27-2003 05:38 AM

In the original game (which I happen to like better than MOO2 ) they had struck a great balance where you could manage about as much or as little as you'd like.
Micromanagement is probably a good idea, especially the veterans will like it. But I hope there's also a possibility to end your turn rapidly several times in a row without your nuclear powerplants exploding and turning the planet radioactive ;)
Can't wait to have the game availiable on this side of the pond

Check out the first impression at Gamespot here

Looks like they manage to messed up the game pretty good. The reason why I played MOO and MOO2 is because I like to do research on killer weapons and put them in ships to smite my enemies. They take the fun (of warfare) of out MOO3 and I don't think many veteran fans of MOO and MOO2 would like that.

According to the gamer reviews at pcgr.com, MOO3 blows.
Thanx for the heads-up. $49 saved.
