Fairioni takes a deep breath, her form turning a super pale white as she instinctly points her staff at it and charges up a dispel magic at it, an oddly comforting black ray wrapping Galain in a heal and disperse spell, her aura becoming visible and streaming up, almost as if her aura is a river.
Fairioni is singing a song in ancient elvish, an comforting one that seems to boost everyone's spirits, although it's still the same spell eminating the energy from her staff. |
"Shh...shh...you are here now..." Jena spoke low and soft as she gently reached forward and hugged Galein, much like a mother comforting a child who woke up frightened of thunder and lightening.
Jena glanced at Galein with a deep concern lingering in her sapphire orbs. I've never seen him look this terrible. "I...have some food, I think...an apple and some other food items..in my pack, that I prepared before I left my.....world. You must be hungry." Deep down inside her core Jena knew that there was something much deeper than mere hunger that troubled Galein. She did her best, however, to reassure him. Reaching in her supplies, Jena withdraws a delicious looking crunchy red apple and hands it to Galein. She looks around and eventually discovers his waterskin. Smiling, she reaches down, picks it up, and hands it to him. "You dreamt, Galein. You are awake now, in the midst of people that love and care for you. Take a few moments to adjust to your surroundings. I know that's what I had to do when I woke from my terrible dream." Jena lowered her head, and it was obvious that something troubled her very much. Noticing that Faironi was beckoning to her, Jena stands after handing Galein the items and walks over to her. "Galein is....extremly troubled. You noticed this too, I'm sure." Jena glanced at Faironi with worried eyes. [ 02-12-2005, 07:35 AM: Message edited by: TheMuse ] |
Managing a weak smile, Galein accepted the food gratefully, though he was not really in any condition to feed himself. Sensing Jena's concern, he did his best to put on a brave face, but his eyes betrayed him - something was deeply wrong. Sipping at the waterskin, he managed to whisper, "I've been cursed... I can sense it..."

Verrion stood guard for a few minutes, before he heard Drusalia calling him. He was almost sure he heard one of the birds fly close, but the treetops obscured his view. He grabbed his pack, and descended down into the tunnel, feet first. Sliding down through the roots and the rocks, he finally arrived down, appearing next to Drusalia. He noticed noone else there, not even Jena. He heard more voices, Aeriah and Fai, but noone was there now. They must have left in the meantime. "Where is everybody? Where is Jena?" |
Drusalia 13/22
She looked at Verrion, and sighed as she saw that no harm had come to him. "They all went off one by one, only I remained here to wait for you. What took you so long?" |

"I heard one of the birds close, I was sure of it. But it was nothing." He picked up his pack, and hung it on his shoulder. "Shall we go join the others? Lead the way." |
Drusalia 13/22
"The problem is that since I did not move away from here while waiting for you, I only know the direction in which they left, and I'm not sure if we come to junctions which way we shall have to go. Do you think we should risk getting lost, or should we wait for them here?" |
Feeling a slight shiver course through her body at the mention of Galein’s current condition, Jena positioned herself beside him and slowly shook her head. Realizing that he was unable to feed himself, Jena gently took the apple from him, broke off bite size bits and pieces, and held them up to his mouth. “Cursed or not, you need to eat. Princes….need their strength for whatever curves are thrown their direction.” She smiled slightly as she turned her head. “…and you, my dear, are no exception. Eat…please…for not only your sake, but your kingdom’s as well. Curses….are often fixable: and the first step to healing is proper eating.”

Accepting the apple, Galein whispered, "Thank you... but... are you sure you want to be feeding me?" He added a slight smile to his lips, "After all, I wouldn't want you to think I was asking you to serve me..."

Jena couldn't help but chuckle. "Galein, put aside your pride and learn to accept the help of those who care for you. You may be a prince, and an important one at that, but realize and understand that you are not in this alone. Each one of us needs a helping hand and guidance from time to time. So here, eat..." Jena raised the chunk of apple until it was pressed firmly yet gently against Galein's lips. Grinning, she looked extremly determined and would not back away until he satisfied her by eating what she offered. It was the first Galelin or Aeriah would see the determined, stubborn side of Jena
