Since Roderik was said to be swinging a "heavy fist", the game master will take this to mean that an attempt to hit was intended. It is rare that a person swings at somebody just to bluff. It would look silly.

I am in the process now of deciding if Roderik was able to make contact by weighing the stats of both characters and seeing what a dice roll gives me.

However, to form a written contract with the two of you, I will not follow through with the results of the attempt if Roderik's post is edited to say something that clearly defines no contact was made. If the post is not edited when I am ready to make my post, then the deal is that I will consider it an attempt to hit.

lol, this is great. I will hold off posting until this moved is confirmed/finished. Although it would be great for Silt, just to say

Man! You guys are so lucky! With all this talk about the Shadow Lord and Larry Silverfall, I was about to have something hear you and attack, based on the fact that you guys are using two key words that would be easy triggers for awakening trouble.

Since dplax may not be able to post until Tuesday, I'll not be so eager to attack you guys at this time, but be on guard! Too much dust getting kicked up might bring the Mage himself at your side, and you don't really want that this early in the game. ;)
