Bakilas passes some time in the lobby before heading for the elevator, 30 minutes is not much time to a vampire who has been living as long as he has.
With a cocky grin he takes the elevator up to her floor. He smiles as he knocks on the door and waits. |

Slipping the card deep into the right pocket of her pants, she drew a deep breath ~ Go home NOW. Solve the mystery later. ~ The call was an urgent one and once sure that her ankle was quite its normal self, she began on a breathless sprint, ignoring everything safe the warning honks of irate drivers. It was an eternity before she reached her apartment, her trembling hands fumbling for the keys and finally getting them right into the keyholes. Once in, she slammed the doors shut and double-locked them. What an awful day. ~ Flinging her handbag onto the armchair and then herself onto the sofa ~ What a blasted awful day... ~ As she shook her head in half disbelief, the nagging doubt resurfaced itself almost immediately. Reaching into the pockets, she retrieved the card and began to examine it...</font> [ 10-31-2003, 05:36 AM: Message edited by: mistral4543 ] |
for Bakilas
You enter the elevator excitedly imagining all the delisciously evil things you plan on doing, the ride is uneventful, and you quickly find the correct room, the door opens smoothly inward as you raise your hand to knock, and you see the woman at the window looking down at the street below, her dress has been shed in favor of a long robe, and she gestures for you to come closer, grinning impishly. |
Bakilas strolls over to stand next to the woman, congradulating himself on being... well himself. He leans against the wall and glances up and down her body, carfully planning all the delightful sin he can have tonight. "I don't believe you have told me your name?"

For Bakilas
The woman looks at you, and smiles broadly, revealing the tips of pointed fangs, then her form shimmers and begins to change. "I am called Orrick, and you have abused my hospitality."As you step back the womans form is replaced completely by that of your host from earlier in the night. Faster than you can move he picks you up by the throat, "I don't care if you kill the kine, but at least dispose of the bodies somewhere other than my club." And with a quick toss you crash through the window and fall to the street below. You hit with alot of force, but manage to twist yourself into a ball and spring out of it at the last minute preventing you from breaking any bones, you do however land immediately behind two of the vampires from the meeting with a very loud THUD and a shower of broken glass. The others are a bit surprised by your sudden arrival. Looking up you see Orrick watching the street with an impressed look on his face. OOC: Larry, and Thalali, I hope you don't mind, but I was assuming you were walking around the hotel/casino, and not away from it. |
"I don't think we will become one of them if we stick together and remember our humanity, otherwise yeah, if our memories fade slowly away we won't really have a choice, will we?"
he took a deep breath and let it out slowly thinking of all the wonderful times he had as a human. [ 11-01-2003, 09:09 AM: Message edited by: T/-/alali ] |
In reaction to the fall of the vamp. from the window...
<font color=steelblue>As Thalali was finishing his sentence, a vampire came crashing down from the window above and was now in front of them with glass everywhere. Storm looked up to see the club owner smirking from that window. Looking back down to the one that had been thrown, and not recalling his name, Storm could not think of anything better to say than, "Are you alright?"</font> |
Bakilas stands and brushes himself off, "Yes, yes I am fine. Just thought I could do with a breath of fresh air." He smiles cheerfully and has to resist the urge to give Orrick the finger.

OOC>>> I will not be posting for now, in case our DM has something interesting to reveal about the business card. If there isn't, I would still wait for DM's instruction (eg, was it a restful night or a nightmare-filled one ) as to how my character's adventure will be continuing.

Thalali jumped back when the vampire hit the ground right between he and Storm.
"Having a bad night?" Thalali asked, knowing perfectly well from his brief vampire experience that he was ok. [ 11-02-2003, 08:35 PM: Message edited by: T/-/alali ] |
