OOC: where are all of you ?? Let me think... Gladria's probably in severe pain from a broken back if shes still alive, Neb is in a sphere about 100 feet underground, Sir Regin is about to be slaughtered... Shadowhound and I are both attacking him, J'aran will be when hes on again, and if Regin lasts till tommorow night Sydney Time(fat chance), Dagorion will be attacking him aswell...
Dragon Mage and Talthyr are both down in this not so forboding castle, Azurewolf hasnt been seen since he let you guys out of the Throne Room, the simulacrams were unsummoned ages ago, and the rest of the HADB deserted you before you even attacked!!! And no uber playing has yet been done in the new thread... even my fusal with the prince of fire isnt ubering because I lost 2 points of constitution permanantly, and my precious precious staff. But still, you need help!! 1 against 3 our favour... I dont think even not-so-tough-anymore Sir Regin stands a chance against that... |
More accurately, one of us against 3 people led by someone who's going seriously uber, you're allowed battles in Clan buildings, you can't say you magically control the actions of our building, because of people who do this we normally consider people in the Clans to be of similar (not the same necessarily) levels.
If you're just going to play god then what's the point in RP'ing |

I went uber against Galadria because she kept cutting peoples arms off... now that isnt exactly good RPing. I went uber on Neb because he barged in, and at one stage kicked me from the Throne Room, when i was out in the courtyard. I didnt go uber on anyone else though... I lost as much as I gained. As for controlling whats going on down here, the only thing I did was bring my character down here, and use some very big spells with extremley long casting times when the couldnt be interupted. And I took back the treasure because Neb simply ran in, took a heap of treasure and teleported out without even giving us a chance to stop him!! And if you dont call THAT powergaming, I dont know what you would. Oh, and I can control the motion of Merlins Palace only if I have equipped the Silver Ring of Merlin... thats all it does. No spells gained, no AC improvement, no saving throw improvement, not even control over the people in the palace. Simply control over the Palace. It is as much of a hindrance as a help because I cant equip as many useful items at once... im down a ring, and have a staff or a sword as my only weapon!! Also, those boots I described arent exactly useful in battle... free action. And in the sort of combat occuring up there, noone would cast any web or entangle spells for fear of endangering their own team. And the cloak does NOTHING execpt look pretty, and no way am I going to remove it. It looks pretty!! |
Actually, I reentered the OOM, Lennon - if you bother to read anything outside of your own self-glorifying posts.
But I gave up this particular rp because I am tired of your constant 'instant regenerations', etc. You say you are provoked into ubering by others, but all they have to do is post an action to 'provoke' you. You tell us not to 'uber', yet you do it constantly and refuse to see it. You are not playing by any 2nd Ed. or 3rd Ed. rules I've ever seen... Frankly, you bore me. I'm waiting for a more worthy opponent. The battle was enjoyable when it was J'aran in the lead. You've ruined all the fun of it. Go back to your tinker toys, Lennon, I have better things to do. |

A loud singsong voice came from the far horizon. Everyone thought it is the monster train, but no, it is not. Guess what? It is LEO! and his brother Legolas!
The two gigantic monster man (or unman) marched shoulder by shoulder. With each step, they left a foot print on the rockhard road, and forces that sent Elminster (who is still in Africa, details read: The Mad Man That Is Leo) hiding behind the tent. Leo stuck his metalic hand into pocket and took out what appears to be a drow's half eaten head and asked his brother "wan sum watermelon?" The two of them heard a great war against some evil democratic mage, (who was half responsible for Leo's lost hands). But there is another purpose, a hideous malicious little secret, they are on a rampage to clean munchkins. The virus munchkins that infested the land of spamming are causing great harm to the side of both justice and injustice. Thus the self appointed heros are going to rock the day baby!!! |

Hon, your comment that I quoted WAS directed at me as you quoted me when you made it. ;) 2. There's my point: 'the process is what's enjoyable' - this is no longer enjoyable for me as Mr. Munchkin has decided he can take no damage that is permanent and does not have to rest before firing barrage after barrage at his opponents. I don't play that way, so I won't be continuing in any battle that he's a part of. NOW I'm going to work. ;) See ya later, Leo. *hugs* |
okok
just to clear it the smileys were to you aka :D :D :D but the comments... heh I had "LennonSook" to start with, but took it off later... anyway, bye, have a good day **hugs** |
