There wasw no need for the mage to cast his spell on Skip, for the young man was already trembling, and searching frantically for a way out. But the spell turned his retreat into a rout, and Skip ran off into the maze of tunnels.
As he ran around blindly in the dark, bumping into a wall on more than one occasion, he could hear the footsteps of the Drow warrior not far behind him. Rounding yet another corner, Skip suddenly stopped and pushed himself to the wall, trying to hide from his pursuer.

But the Drow was not so easily fooled, and grinned as he slowly advanced toward the thief, scimitars drawn. In desperation, Skip took out his shortsword as he tried to crawl even further into the wall...

ATTALUS(Chases Skip's drow, smashing into his adamantite plate with Carsomyr. The drow turns form Skip, attacking the paladin)

Suddenly, a dark shape fell from above, hitting the Drow that Attalus was fighting with it's full weight, it stands up and reveals itself to be humanoid, though what race is uncertain, it's skin and equipment seem to have the colour and texture of the cavern's stony ceiling and walls.

It stands up, draws a scimitar and stabs it through the Drow which it knocked to the ground, the Drow dies and the figure stands still as stone for a few seconds, apparently concentrating on something. After those few seconds it's skin and equipment lose their stone texture and colouring.

What remains is a human, very pale, his skin almost white, wearing a dark blue cape and a few clothes of the same colour, he's armed with a scimitar and makes no movements that are either hostile or signaling that his intent is peaceful.

OT: This looks like a fun thread, I know the underdark pretty well, is their still room for one more?

Skip was visibly confused by the sudden appearance of these two men. Well, he thought, at least I'm still alive...

He quickly hid his sword beneath his cloak again, before turning to face his 'saviours', glad noone could see his face flush in the dark as he spoke.

"Uhm, I know it's dark and all, but could you two turn around while I change into a fresh pair of trousers?"

"Just call me Neb, I am not a 'sir', and I'm not a mage or sorcerer either, rescuing a Drow? Hmmmm.... Well, as much as I loathe that race I'll go along with you anyway, sounds like a fun adventure."

The last of the attacking drow wariors suddenly screams and drops to the ground. His neck is pierced by a silver knife. Out of nowhere another drow appears. He smiles as he looks at the corpses of the drow wariors. Lil alurl velve zhah lil velkyn uss, he wishpers to himself. Vendui'Rivvil, i'm sorry I wasnt able to get to you earlier.
