There were "flashes of orange" in her eyes whenever she exhibited her increased power and she was fully wreathed in flames before dropping the telekinitic wedge that was parting the water. It seems obvious that Jean Grey is going to "evolve" in the movies rather than following the clone-storyline from the comics. Also, the Professor was smiling because he could suddenly "feel" Jean's presence again. He wouldn't need Cerebro to detect a telepath on the scale of Phoenix. He felt the presence of another very powerful telepath and he smiled when he recognized the "psychic signature" of Jean Grey.</font>

<font color="#f683ad">Just my thoughts on the iron injection......Presumably Mystique injected the guy in his gluteus....whatever feric solution she injected would not immediately get into his bloodstream....it would take time...so he probably would ahve died eventually from iron poisoning...however he would probably be able to live to go to work the next day...albeit very sore in the rump. The Iron was not liquid..it was small particles suspended in solution, Magneto can manipulate iron on the molecular level making it perform as if it were fluid but in actuality would be a solid.
