Did you not notice that the Iron Throne was influenced by their leader. The merchants were gaining large sums of money during the time that their former leaders ruled but they probably had little knowledge of their leaders ambitions.
Therefore they thought these were great leaders because of all the money they were getting, but when the Iron Throne began to fall they fled from the place.

All ran away except a handful of loyals these few men were the smart ones. they knew that with their former evil leaders gone they could create a powerful organisation. They could hire any race of creatures and not be spat on or downtrodden. These men saw what could happen if they bought the Iron Throne back to power. They had plan they could unite the realm and creatures of faerum or leave it to adventurers to slaughter the many amazing creatures. After all was it not the gods who gave life so therefore they are the only one's who deserve to give death, let us not kill unnedily (hmmm... odd word) but let us teach those who cannot learn by themselves let us teach them to be nobles or farmers, fishermen, or fisherwomen let us be united with these creatures of the realm. Let us live Together In Peace And Equality.

Let's just kill the kobolds and get rid of the iron Throne already! My butt hurts from sitting on it too much!

Firestormalpha 04-29-2003 08:43 PM

AMEN!! Preach it DS! The only way the Iron Throne could ever become strong again is if they appeared under a new name and disavowed any affiliation with their previous title. Otherwise the Dukes would do everything in their power to prevent the Iron Throne from gaining power. The Iron Throne (to be hereafter refered to as the "organization") would also have to prove it's intent for the "good" of the entire Sword coast. So far all we've heard are threats from the fanatical zealot known simply as IronThroneLoyalist, and weak arguments from the others. You want to convince me? Say something worth my time.

Lord Dracon 04-30-2003 05:48 AM

The Iron Throne Shall Return!!!

But in the meantime we shall discuss the simple matter of kobolds.

I was thinking, if we put kobolds in the army would they not be great archers and also with their fire arrows they could wreak havoc on enemy camps.
Why even their smell could be used as a weapon causing the enemy to maybe pass out from the stench if they had to stand face to face with the kobolds.

This could also act as a population control system if they did happen to get out of control in their breeding habits.

Dragonshadow 04-30-2003 10:40 AM

We can use Kamakazi Kobolds as little bombs: lob 'em at the enimie and watch them explode! Indoor firework dispaly and also kills all enimies in range!

PS The Iron Throne are evil and will go down as soon as they rise.

By the way, has anyone seen Mr Baggins around? He seems to have vanished agin. Not bleeding on corpses more, i hope.

IronThroneLoyalist 05-01-2003 02:57 PM

I wonder if Mr. Baggins is interested in being employed by the Iron Throne since he seems to have a nack for amassing a horde of kobolds. He would be a worthy replacement for Mulahey. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon31.gif

Lord Dracon 05-02-2003 02:50 AM

yes the Iron Throne might even help sponsor mr baggins attempts at integregating the kobold into our society.

(I was going to send a post asking if anyone knew where mr baggins or lord brass have gotten themselves to but you beat me to it dragonshadow)

Oh, so now you're trying to get little hobbits into your evil plans, eh? have you no shame? He is just trying to help kobolds, you don't need to take that as an invitation to stick him in your ranks.

Um... I don't know who's side I'm on now... Could someone tell me please?

And has anyone seen Lord Brass. I had forgetten about him.

And dear Mr. Leggy... he has gone a long time...

I have come to the conclusion that kobolds and the iron Throne have captured all three of them! An excuse to remove the Iron Throne and kobolds from power!

</font>[/QUOTE]Your accusations are laughable at best. You have no proof, and if I were you, I would retract these false accusations. As for Mr. Baggins, my reasons for my offer are my own, and as a non member of the Iron Throne I would suggest that you mind your own business!!! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon17.gif
