thanks again, I'll think about your suggestions some more but more spells is unnesessary, because there are other members of the gang that handles that. (a pure sorceress, a bard/rouge and a cleric to be more precise).

I'm in the fell woods, and have been given a quest to kill some "death lights". I've been searching for a while now, and haven't got a clue about what they/it are/is and more importatnly; where to find it/them.
a hint would be welcome [img]smile.gif[/img]

This is the most annoying thing in the game minus the boss of the game ;)

Basically, there is a complex path of the forest that you must follow to get to the death lights. If you want, I can tell it to you, and I wouldn't count it cheating to look it up online. This part of the game could take several hours of note taking, dropping items as markers, and dumb luck to get past.

Or just 2 minutes using the Wilderness Lore skill [img]smile.gif[/img]
And it would be a good idea to choose what you prefer: 6th level spells(11druid, 19 ranger), or +1 favored enemy(10 druid, 20 ranger). I'd take the favored enemy, especially if you're more of a fighter type.

or that, yes. I just never take that skill [img]smile.gif[/img]

Try it a few times, as you can easily mess it up. Good luck against the death lights! They are a pretty tough fight.

It says that rangers gains spells at fifth level. what kind of spells, and how many?

Rangers have access to minor nature-type spells. You will only get 1 spell at 5th level, unless you have high wisdom and therefore get the bonus spell.

The spells of a ranger or paladin aren't all that helpful - they are quite minor, really. However, they do add a bit of versatility and durability to those character classes.
