I didn't know about Korgan's infatuation for Mazzy, but Haer'Dalis definitely has a crush on Aerie and pursues a romance with her - even to the point of challenging the PC if HE is romancing her. And you CAN resurrect Yoshimo, but you have to go through a complicated process to do it. |
You can ressurect him? Really?
I know you take his heart to the temple of Ilamter, what else? Spoil away. |
I'll see if I can remember the proper steps.
1) You have to kick him out of the party before going to Spellhold...that way he doesn't have a chance to complete the geas placed on him by Irenicus. 2) Once you return from Spellhold, go to the Copper Coronet (which is presumably where you left him). 3) Here's where it gets tricky. AS SOON as you enter the Coronet, you need to PAUSE the game. If you go in the lower door, Yoshimo should be standing very close to where you enter. While the game is PAUSED, click on Yoshimo to initiate dialogue. This should allow you to add him back to your party, but timing is everything. 4) As soon as Yoshimo sees the PC, he dies (either from guilt or from not completing the geas). If you were quick enough with the PAUSE button though, he should re-join the party first. 5) If Yoshimo is in the party when he dies, he can be resurrected just like any other party member. I haven't actually tried this to see if it works yet, but I plan to do it with my assassin. He likes Yoshimo and wants to keep him around (they make an awesome Backstabbing tag-team), so he is going to try and find a way to keep the Bounty Hunter in the party. |
Doesn't really count, its just exploiting the game, you may as well put in him with shadowkeeper. There is no legitimate way of doing it.

I agree with Aragon, and you get an npc with no dialogue at all, who isnt even supposed to be alive. Its like ctrl-Q black dragon. Anyway i heard this bug has been fixed by patches and Baldurdash. But I heard of a mod which would make Yoshimo a playable character for the rest of Soa

Edwin romance, I think it's in the beta stages anyway it's meant to be a bit diffrent, with less coddling than with the Anomen romance, which is a good thing.. And no, I could not have picked an easyer name, Q`alooaith is what I was and what I shall become again, no power of heaven or earth shall stop me.. *que insane laughter" |

LoL, yeah, I was hoping for a legit way. Ah well.
Thanks for the tip on the Edwin romance, I'll certainly look at it when it's more stable :D |
How about an Edwina romance, lol.

**** UPDATE ****
So I created a female LG monk for Anomen. Jonny's dungeon was actually harder than I thought it would be, mostly because of the sucky priest THAC0. I couldn't hit a damn thing, and it sucked big a$$munch. However, that's all behind me. No real RP problems were encountered in the dungeon, except that trapped doppelganger poses an interesting dilemma. I, as a LG monk, would fully intend to release an old man trapped in a room, but when I told him I didn't have the means to release him just yet, he changed form on me. I was duly suspicious, and opened the door only to plunder from within. When I refused to take him with me, I was confronted with a shapeshifting monster, whom I promptly slew. After escaping from the dungeon, I did a little 'nonRP' and went straight to the Copper Coronet to fetch Anomen. For some reason he was level 11 when I got him (my Monk was only level 9 I think). I found that rather odd. Still, cleared the circus tent. When I tried to go to the Graveyard District to start my systematic investigation of the city, I found the guy that wanted to go to the harper base. So I took him there. I subsquently decided to start doing the Harper quest, despite Yoshi's objections. The Improved Necromancer encounter was very interesting, and much harder than I thought it would be. Those Flesh Golems can be very very irritating. Anyways, completed the Harper Quest without incident. Next, I decided I would get Yoshi in good standing as quickly as possible. I started the Maevar quest. There are numerous RP dilemmas there. However, I decided I would keep in mind the "greater good" by eliminating the "greater of two evils". So I got Yoshi to lift the amulet from the Priestess of Talos. Next came the Rayic Gethras encounter. I didn't intend to kill him in any way, I entered his house with the intention of convincing him that going after Edwin probably wasn't in his best interests. The Mephits promptly attacked me, so I defended myself. The Stone Golems on the 2nd floor also attacked me, so I defended myself from them as well. When I encountered Rayic on the 3rd floor, he got all mad me and asked me to leave. I told him I was sorry, and I didn't mean to intrude. When I tried to talk to him about the whole Edwin thing, he just attacked me. I unfortunately had to kill him :( Afterwards I went to the graveyard district. I got the Paladin to adopt the orphan. As for Uncle Lester, I killed him. All Undead are evil, so I felt necesarry to save the poor citizen, despite what the zombie accuses him of. Next, I WAS going to go tomb raiding, but I remembered that disturbing the resting place of dead people isn't exactly a "good" thing to do. Next I solved the "skinner" murders. Nothing really interesting thing. Nothing really interesting in Trademeet either. The only cool thing I can think of is the improved Shadow Druid encounter at the entrace to the grove. One of the druids had Flametongue and that club that does splinters. I'll have a few weeks during Christmas to play lots, so I'll update a few times during then. |
