I suppose this is a bit simplistic but....
I do need additional posts to help get rid
of that horrible Avatar.

My monitor will cut off the left side of
the image when the software changes the
resolution. The monitor only adjusts itself
when it is first turned on. So, when the
software changes the resolution, I must
turn the monitor off for a second then turn
it back on so that it can make the adjustment.

Just turning the monitor off and on didn't help, but pressing the "Auto Adjust" button on my monitor did. Thanks for the tip, Paul! I guess that means I'm off to work on my third review then. :)

Here's the review for The Academy. I've found it a little hard to decide on the rating for this entry, since I was often torn between things that I absolutely loved and things I felt were in need of improvement, in one and the same category. I hope it's still helpful though, in some ways.

I was working on an update of my demo after reading the review and realized something that is germaine. :)

Most of the issues in the review were actually mentioned in the DEMO_Readme.txt file included in the archive. ;)

I didn't want to give away too much in the readme, i.e. what words to ask, because I wanted to get a sense of what people could/would figure out to ask.

I think I forgot to mention the new version of Friedrich's Quest here at Ironworks. It comes with some more events, a fairer combat system and a slightly stronger main character.
Find it here:

Thanks for the link, Dinonykos. :D

As soon as I finish playing Ben J's "The Sect" I plan on playing your design again.

The first time I used ftp since ~1998. :D

It's nice that Paul is so generous with his disc space!

I have a question concerning that: To play "the Sect", I need a version of FRUA, correct? How difficult is it to get the original game? I have looked at some online stores, but I only found books refering to FRUA, not the game/editor itself.

Well, I hope that Ben J will make a DC adaption sooner or later anyway. I still can't get the Fußfetischist out of my had - I assume the Sect will be similarly brilliant.
