Not a great day. And now Sir Tainly has left Ironworks due to the April Fools Joke. Which made me wonder; what was this joke? I was under the impression that it was no more then a few changed sigs and the 'earthquake' gig...

Attalus 04-10-2003 06:16 PM

Thanks, Kat and TL. She has had several strokes and these have not been of the paralytic variety, but of the kind that make her confused and disoriented, with several bizzare delusions. Galadria and her Dad are pretty upset, as she is still alive, but not really the person they love. It is very difficult.
Dreamer, the joke never appeared as an "earthquake" to me, but as one that hid IW in the right lower corner of my screen. Dunno why it was taken so hard.

arion windrider 04-10-2003 06:29 PM

hey everyone

Timber Loftis 04-10-2003 08:12 PM

Bye all. *waves*

harleyquinn 04-10-2003 08:52 PM

Hi Arion

Hi LK, saw your note in my guestbook. Calvin and Hobbes rules :D

FINALLY they say it's going to get warm next week. I'm crossing my fingers and toes to hope it happens :D :D :D

MagiK 04-11-2003 08:44 AM

Morning all, ***toasts TL with a tall cool frosty glass of milk*** ;)

Attalus 04-11-2003 09:20 AM

Good morning, MagiK. *Returns toast with wave of coffee mug* It's beautiful here, today. How 'bout them Kurds?

MagiK 04-11-2003 10:30 AM

Attalus, I know you are talking about Kurds and whey and not some topic that should be in the circular discussion forum

Night Stalker 04-11-2003 10:43 AM

Is it better served a breakfast or another time of day. Or what about spiders? Served with or sans? Me, I'm not a big fan of the dish either way.

Attalus 04-11-2003 01:31 PM

Well, everybody, I am afraid I sahll not be here the rest of the day. Galadria's mom has had a massive stroke. See my thread. :(

Timber Loftis 04-11-2003 01:36 PM

Poor Atty and family. Absolute best of luck. :( :( :(

Hiram Sedai 04-12-2003 03:11 AM

Hey Cloudy and folks!!

It's been a while since I've posted in here. How are ya'll doin? I've been listening to the wisdom of Zeeke and it has changed my life for the better. I am much more confident now that I have applied the wonder of Zeeke to my mortal life.

I hope everything has been going okay over here.

Zeeke75 04-12-2003 03:17 AM

Yes, Hiram has decided to follow the ways of Zeeke, and he is no longer the self-depreciative man he once was. He now has a spine, of which I control. My very own lap-dog! I've seen so many others with one, I just had to get one of my own.

Kaltia 04-12-2003 04:58 AM

BUAHAHAHAHA!
Hee hee!
Did I just say that?
You go Zeeke!

The ways of Zeeke..... do they include beer ?

Attalus 04-12-2003 10:35 AM

Just a quick "hi," before I head off to work. Galadria is off to the hospital with Piestrider and Will in a few minutes.

And you chose Hiram...why?
I mean, you could've had Johnny there, and you chose Hiram?
No offense to dear Hiram himself :D

Gammit 04-12-2003 12:43 PM

Hoping all goes well for your family, Attalus. Had a bit of a bad start to my weekend too. On a good note, I did get accepted to be a beta tester for an upcoming game... ok, so maybe I'm trying to stretch for the good, but still.

Sir Krustin 04-12-2003 08:50 PM

Just stopping in for an extra-large french vanilla. What a gorgeous day today!

Snow finally melted, and i'm going out to wash the car shortly. (the car wash should be deserted by now :D )

Picked up a new cellphone today, didn't get the Sony-Ericsson like I planned - got a steal of a deal on a handset that was being phased out. Really nice, now I have a vibrate mode and the phone is much more pocket friendly than the old Sony I had before. It also has twice the battery duration of my old phone (170 hrs vs. 80 hrs) And now that I have trimode capability, I won't have to let the message center take my calls at the shop because the signal will be much better.

Life is good.

I hate Sundays. Nothing on TV, and you get that lazy feeling that you really should be studying but can't be bothered. ;)

Attalus 04-13-2003 09:49 AM

Good morning, all. A pretty day, but pretty sad, too. I used to hate Sundays when I was in college, but now, it's the only day that I don't have to do anything. Galadria's still resting. Poor dear, this has been hard on her.

Timber Loftis 04-13-2003 12:06 PM

Hope she's doing well, Attalus. Good day all.

Kaltia 04-13-2003 12:21 PM

Isn't this Cloudy's a bit long? Can I make a new one and become one of the official staff, or shall I hassle Kaz out of retirement? :D

When she gets up, give her a huuuuuge *HUG* from me, you hear?

Attalus 04-13-2003 12:36 PM

Mission accomplished, Kat. ;)
