Ok, PS:T people - dilemma - I kinda ...err..think I might have pooched it a little. I have a save waaaayyyy back in the Ravel's Maze...but I usually clear the outside of the map first...so we I went into Curst's area yesterday, I went down the stairs in town dump area...I'll be darned if I can't go back. I've done the Deva stuff and I am just getting ready to do the Bone Pillar thingy - is it worth redoing all that for the quests/XP/GP/extra healing drops (running VERY low)...

Let me know.

nope, sorry, you cant go back. same thing happened to me when i played the game for the first time ;) . i dont think its worth it. i absolutely wouldnt do it because i hate doing stuff ive already done. actually, there is some exp and stuff but i dont think youll need em. depends on what level is your party. i had a helluva hard time with my lvl 7-9 party, but if youre over 10 or something, youre ok. but if you would be as high leveled as galadria, you would not have to kill em, you would have to look at em and then see them die :D
so my short answer is NO but if you really, really wanna see what you missed(a couple of "do this, do that quests", nothing really important ), load the game.

Bahamut 05-06-2002 01:07 PM

The feeling just sucks when you can't go back.. it's like in RL where going back to the past is not an option.. so better do good NOW :D

As they say it: Live in the NOW

See ya all! Peace, out

Happy Monday?! And tell me please what's so happy abou it? Back to school, back to work, and after a *glorious* prom too. (PS that was more than a little sarcasm) You can't help but be a little bit sarcasm when 22 people show up for prom. Look out 22 people! *sigh* Not the greatest place to grow up eh? Well at least the decorations were nice...

HELLO Zidane! And welcome to the Cafe! I like my bacon more like Lioness does, not about medium, not too crispy.

Glory and Noble Wolf, don't worry so much!

Uss, yes, that post was serious. I tend not to post mile high letters in bright pink just to see myself post. ;) I appreciate your apology and hope that you can, in fact, enjoy posting with everyone from now on.

Hey, it's a beautiful day here! I should have swapped the day with you UK folk who had the bank holiday! :D

Jerome, did you remember to take out the trash? ;)

Cloudy, a happy happy camper (had a long talk with my sweetie yesterday...sigh... )

Can't get to the quote thingie, so I'll just agree with the others, BK, you'll find things...er...different in Curst when you get back. Now, uss (shakes finger) they don't just fall down when we look at them. I'm in the middle of all that Carceri madness, and I think Nameless has gotten down to less than a hundred HP once. Luckily Fall-from-Grace has five "Heal" spells. Those darned Baathesu sure don't like Nameless and the Justifier.

Thing was so much easier in BG1+2 when everybody had access to missile weapons - weren't they? ;)

Down to...DOWN TO!
**sputter, sputter**
**looks at character sheet and sees 115hp**
~sigh~ (uber!)

Oh, and thanks for the Info, Neb. I'm mostly 8-9 levels, so I'll probably go back (glotten for punishment, I guess...) ;)

so.. you have to blow on them first :D ? im sorry, i just cant see how a lvl 25 party could have troubles in Ps:T when i finished with an approximately lvl 8 party. i got through them pretty fast. though the boss(BIG SPOILER, thats why i wont tell his name, because of BK and others that havent got here yet ) had nice spells.. a bit too nice. hey, what spells can Dak`kon do?
and Cloudbringer, thanks for accepting my apology. i promise i wont do anything like that anymore .

Lord, what I wouldn't give for one person with a Crossbow - although if you get Ingus (Flaming guy in the Inn in the Hive) he has a thrown flame he uses (thaco 19, though...)

hehe mine just got Cloudkill...hehe My second favorite spell (next to a good old fireball, which seems to be noticably lacking in this game) Hey, did either of you have this ring of Meteor Distruction (not sure if that's what it is called, but it did a WAAAAY cool action spell effect... </font>
i think Cloudkill is too buffed and the other spells mostly suck except for the lvl 8-9 ones ;) and that lvl 4 Black Orb thingy(i think you get it after you kill Ravel). and yes, i had the Meteor ring. the spell thats on it is Meteor Bombardment- a lvl 8 spell. nice, huh :D

Galadria 05-06-2002 03:06 PM

Er, actually uss, BK it's a level 29 party...er, we ran into a fiend or two, and (shrugs) ...er...Nameless has 5,438,906 XP He also has 340 HP, so he's kind of hard to kill...as a certain "divine" individual found out. Curst OK, now, sleeping at the Civic Festhall,, back in good ol' Sigil, rich as Croesus, but nothing to buy.
BK, Cloudkill is the very best spell in the GAME!!! It doesn't hurt your party! Dak'kon now has Celestial Host, Bladestorm, Stygian fury, etc.

I always found Bladestorm much more effective than cloudkill.... mmm... must be because I stopped casting one after I got the other. ;)

Out of interest: What's your alignment currently?

umm, well, the bigger the better :D . sadly, you are very close to the end. the game ends in The Stronghold Of Regrets. there, you will learn alot stuff about The Nameless One and the whole story, overall.
btw, i belive that Celestial Host is Ps:T`s ultimate spell. though i havent seen the damage, ive seen the spell animation and am very convinced :D
and what is the biggest lvl spell Dak`kon can memorize?
