I just dropped by to order you all a round of cure potions. Not that I think you need them, mind you. It is just that they are so rare and therefore so expensive, so I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to show off my fortune giving you all one. - I just looted the Stout Mine Treasury.

Ha! A round for the house on me, to celebrate the joys of blind luck. While trying to see if there was a way to climb over Anephas' shrine to get to the area to get the seeds of life, I always get stuck when I try tree-surfing, I accidentally vanished myself into the chamber behind the seal, right next to the lever to load the shrine. Slapped down a portal, and I can now come and go from the shrine as I please, leaving the seal intact for the eventual quest to open it. Now I just have to finish the shrine and find some bark horrors. Life is good in the Gael Serran.

Vanishing into the room behind the seal I have never heard of before. Perhaps you might want to post that solution on the "best tips" page.

Heck, I'm just jealous! Way to go! :D

I'm reluctant to add something to the tips thread that would be really difficult to duplicate. Vanish pretty much moves you around randomly, and you could try all day without landing behind the seal. I got lucky. I got wedged while trying to climb onto the roof, and was just vanishing myself unstuck. I'll probably never be able to intentionally vanish into that chamber.

I'm buying another round. Just finished my first run through the Gael Serran with a solo character. And Cet is a total wuss if you've enchanted up your armor to resist everything. I don't think he so much as gave me a paper cut.

Now, sadly, I have to get off the computer and go call a plumber. Don't ask.

I never really liked messing with vanish. I used to run an 'antiquated' video card, and was prone to ending up in places that I could not get out of.

Cat in a Hat walks in.
Checks no weapons.
Walks over to the end of the bar, removes hat, retrievs a few darts.
Looks around, asks if anybody wants to shoot a round.
Picks out 3 darts, and throughs with his left hand, scores a whopping 5, and 2 misses. Removes darts, and pulls up a bar stool.
Orders a mug of warm milk.
Awaits others.

Felix

A small party of six enters the boogre bar. From the jokes it soon becomes apparent that the tall dark-clad valkyrie leading the party had just made level six and gained the zap spell as a bonus. The agile zenmaster and the young female elven warlock flanking her were cracking jokes about her finally having learned a puny spell that they had long since learned, but from Kerah's Sword hanging by her belt one could tell she was no ordinary adventurer. Through a slit in her crusader helmet she spots a feline figure sitting by the bar looking intently at the bartender pouring up a drink. Using a hacking program for cheating purposes the dark-haired asassin at the rear of the party had gained gained the hawk's brow trait although he was not eligible for training that. He picks up the darts and throw them at the round target hanging on the wall. Bull's-eye!!! Enough practicing for now.
The valkyrie walks up to feline figure whose tail's movement shows that the figure had long since been alerted of the party's presence (or was it their dexterity?). "Well if it isn't Felix the Feline Assassin", says the young female valkyrie, whose name has a somewhat amusing connotation to it... but only in Danish, unfortunately, so I will not write it here.
While her entourage lines the seats by the bar counter the valkyrie buys Felix a drink.

Nice to have you back in the bar, Felix. A fellow companion in the quest for the missing traits.

How's it going?

I've finally wandered back this way. I'm a plant, I'm slow, but unlike some plants I don't have lethal breath. Except when I first get up.

Anyhoo, to what I was going to say, I don't use vanish as part of normal gameplay. I just use it when I get stuck someplace because of my graphics card problems and am going to have to teleport and walk back halfway across the Gael Serran to be able to move again. This happens to me a lot, so I've developed a habit of saving where I'm stuck and then casting vanish. If it works, I'm still in the same area. If it doesn't, I reload, teleport, and make that hike. I've experienced that annoying 'suddenly in the trees' phenomenon too many times to use vanish when I'm not already stuck. I never have good luck with those trees.

Bumpers must buy!!! Bumpers must buy!!! Hey, that is a good idea, Bungleau. Now whatever happened to our long-missed bartender? I think it is about time he threw out the customers and invited them to come to the Boogre Bar 5 instead.

Wii ! I'm back!
I have been in combat training for one month,
and last two weeks I was in guerilla training mission in Lapland...

Huh! I've promoted into sergeant! Now I think that's time to buy you guys a beer!

Trip back to home starts this afternoon, and I'll be home, sleeping my own bed this night. sleeping two weeks under raincoat in sleepingback, can really be quite nice time, but nothing can win own bed!

Well let's drink for that!

To notice all that that don't know:

I was called into military service again...
It was only training and last one month.
It's normal in Finland, but usually it last only one week,
but you know what's going on into gulf better than I do.

Well I was two weeks in theoria training and last two weeks in
combat training.
I'm guerilla intelligence sergeant...
So I lead team into enemy ground and take actions like,
ambush, inteeligence, scouting etc.

We are first one's in enemy terrain.

Two weeks. 13 days sleeping on ground, in sleepingbacks under raincoats.
- 10 degrees at night +5 at day... No warm food every day, no water.
We had to take our cooking and drinking water from the swamp!
We use choriny tablets to kill all virus and living bacils from water.
but it doesn't taste so well.
We travelled over 25 km a day, so it takes 300 km for that time we where scouting....
And we travelled by foot, in Finnish forests. We traveled 2 km in hour, so it took over 11 hour a day for traveling and we had several combat missions between that!

Let's stop talking about crab.
As you see I'm quite drunk right now!
And my email isn't working to day....

So I get back into Gaeal Serran tomorrow evening or sunday.
And I email you bs tomorrow.
