Interesting, I think taking a fully charged swing can also impact the result. no pun intended.

I've gotten as high as a +40 smash bonus, only saw 2 items in my path at the time.

No. But what happens is that you hit two people when you start swinging, and then 2 again when you go medieval.

Tips for playing BlackKnight.
Buy only the weapons and only the most powerful ones you can afford at the moment.
Powerups are a waste of gold.
Hitting the witch isn't always a terrible game ending mistake, but it's still a gamble.
And go for the best smash bonus you can get. Usually helps to wait til you're almost on top of the target.

that's what I've learned so far.

Ooh goody. I'm buggered after the weekend but i'll give it a bash tomorrow.

I see that you've regained the Caterpiller top score, Dragonshadow. Business is business and all. I'll be having that one back tomorrow as well. ;)

You honestly shouldn't do this. Just save up until you can buy the last biggest weapon, it shouldn't take you more than two rounds. After that, buy the strength tonic and money charm every round.

Of course. I had to try and win it back for at least while. If you can get it back, then very well done. How you'll do it without getting seriously bored, I don't know.

Ah, patience young grasshopper, if you are to become a caterpiller one day. :1ponder: Erm, ya.

Boredom may be the price, but it is also that which we seek to rid ourselves of in the undertaking, maybe? No..

I really shouldn't get so messed up on weekends? Ain't that the truth!

I'll settle for: If the cure for boredom is boredom, why not become a monarch whilst your at it?

:)

The luck charm definately returns you more gold than the 200 you spend for it (maybe not on club though).

I quite agree on the "erm, ya" part :P
I'm also slightly confused about the evolution of a grasshopper into a caterpiller...
