It's a penguin! Hello, SomeGuy!

Well, gang, I'm off to get some sleep! Been a good day, despite the rain. Hubby and a friend and I went car shopping for our friend, did some errands, had lunch and enjoyed the day as best one can when it's damp and grey out.

Heh..i finally got into Sacred, it was collecting dust for quite a long time now, but this game is pretty cool, can't believe i never looked into this before. I think it's better than Dungeon Siege, from what i've seen so far.

Have you encountered any characters like in LZ's picture yet?

I'm still relatively early in the beginning. I've only encountered robbers, goblins, dark elves, and a few mages here and there, nothing unusual i'd say. Most RPG's start with battles against goblins and such, which are good enough to get some XP before the real work starts i suppose.

I'm a battlemage, level 6 now, and i'm still running errands in the first town, which is a huge map btw, i've been lost more than once. :D

Btw...i've been looking for a decent walkthrough, but there doesn't seem to be one, or at least nothing came up for me. Does anyone know of a good walkthrough ? I don't think you really need one for this game, but i don't wanna miss out on a lot of secret passages or hideouts with magical items in it and stuff. I've heard of a hidden dungeon underneath the old villa, in which a vampire lives. Naturally i wanna go inthere and see what's there to loot. :D But i can't find a way in.

Just use the Tab key Johnny and use that map to get to the blackened places you haven't been to before. I like to scour ever single area too so I miss out on nothing. There are caves and stuff to the South of the town of Belevue, and also to the east. I followed the water a lot to go around the town, found this cave to the very east of Belevue with a Seraphim trapped there by a mage. Good luck with your Battle Mage, it's one of the hardest characters to play with I've heard.

Really ? So far things are going pretty smooth, i have a kickass wizardstaff, plus casting fireball every now and then makes short work of most opponents, except for this Orcish champion i just ran into. He keeps killing me with only one or two blows from his warhammer. At the moment there's three other people traveling with me, but they're not partymembers or anything, i just have to get them somewhere, i forgot where though LOL

It's nice that you can use horses in this game, it makes traveling a lot easier. Too bad that i bought one though, five minutes later i found one in a forest. :D

Glad you aren't having any problems with your battlemage Johnny. Oh and just look at the big map (the Tab map works too if you are close) and you will see your subquest areas as blue dots, just go to the dot to take your companions. Main quests are yellow door looking icons. You run into people here and there in Sacred that need you to take them somewhere, yep. I remember last year, before I quit playing Sacred to wait for the final patch, I had to escort a pig LOL! Thing is, I think those companions also divide your XPs (not the pig though LOL), so I get them to their destination right away. I've never used the horses. I don't mind plodding my way through the map slowly, and you can't fight on a horse. They are cool looking though.

If your still looking for a walkthrough johnny, click here

Tottenham won today 5-1. They needed to score 5 goals to go ahead of us in the Premiership to get the final European place. We play them next week, and then the team below us the week after. If we beat them next week we should qualify for Europe. Fingers crossed eh?

I've done pretty much nothing today. This week my dad bought himself a new PC (damn spoilt parents), so I got his old desktop instead of my laptop. WoW actually plays on it, so I made a new account (We used to use the same account, now I have my own so I don't have to wait until he stops hogging it until I can get on). It took ages downloading the patch, I told him "Why not find it on the web instead of using Blizzard downloader". Bah, parents never listen. Level seven hunter so far. They might be pretty sucky in PvP, but hunters are a fun class. Haven't quite mastered posting on the WoW Europe forums, it won't let me select a character, even though I only have one character to choose from. Does it auto-select if you only have one character made?

Just posting here while the break is on, I'm watch the Godfather. Finishes past midnight, just an excuse to stay up. Only been on an hour but it's not bad at all, just a bit long ;)

You're wrong about that last bit Wendy, i have been fighting from a horseback for the last few hours. I can do damage with normal weapons, and of course, being a mage and all, cast spells. It helped me a great deal too, since i have to flee quite often when i find myself facing a regiment of enemies once again. I'm not protected against normal weapons, so a few hits with a sword will kill me easily. Right now i'm at level 10, and already it's no longer a walk in the park anymore. I keep running into Priests of Samarra or something like that, and they cast some sort of entangling spell so i can't move for a few seconds, and then their henchmen finish me off with arrows and swords. It's getting pretty tough in those woods now, and basically i have no idea where i'm going. I am to report to a soldier in some town, i think he'll give me some quests, but i'm having one hell of a time making it through the wilderness.

I've also encountered a Minotaur and an Orcish Champion, who were both way too tough for me, so i had to chicken out of those two fights as well.
