No fullon, i added those couple of songs to my playlist in winamp and compared to the other stuff i had at the time it just, didn't feel like i was listening to a "drunken live band" at all lol
Like melusine said in an earlier post, the cleaner singing in the songs is awesome and the screaming...is alright :D
very good stuff, i really liked fat n sassy and lil' chuck, love'n em !

Cool, nice one man, good singing.

Cool, thanks man. Appreciate it.
And hey, we'll see if we can get a few rap tunes in for next time...um, actually, no. We'd be absolutely terrible at that. But still, never say never :)Our guitarist loves ska, our bassist is a big 'Tool/Rage against the Machine' man. Our drummer loves death metal and our keyboardist is pretty much into anything so long as he's smoked enough ;) But we pretty much have zero rap-talent potential :D
</font>
Well if we weren't thousands of miles apart, I'd come and rap for you :D Nah, only joking, my rapping is reserved for when I'm in an empty house and no one can hear me when I'm getting into a track a bit too much :D

Sagramore 10-25-2003 02:15 PM

niiiiiice......whats your bands name, again?

Arledrian 10-25-2003 03:35 PM

Completely awesome, Hierophant. I've been sharing these tracks with some of the guys at college here and we're all psyched about them. This is great music for when you're piss-drunk. I'm lovin' every minute, and will more so the next time I'm wasted. You have real talent. Thanks for sharing

Man, seriously, you guys rule. This support means ALOT to us. Thanks again. And again, and again and again!

Bristowe : The sample at the start of 'Fat n' Sassy' is from a cartoon by Don Hertzfeld called 'rejected'. I'll do a search and see if I can find it for you. It's hilarious. Just totally random, off-the-wall stuff. Man, I hope Don doesn't sue us... heh, ah well, it's not like we're making money off've this. He'll understand I'm sure ;) Oh yeah, and we do a mean cover of the 'Ghostbusters' theme song too ;)

Vask : Well, when we've saved up some cash we'll fly you over here and you can bust out your brand of street-style pimpin'-ass rimez ;) We best come correct, foo!

Sagramore : The name of our band is 'Nagas' (pronounced 'Nay-gass'). Aka: The Ken Nagas Extreme Band, Aka: The Ken Nagas Family Learning Band, Aka: The Ken Nagas Satanic Orchestra (that's a joke, none of us are all that religious, although our drummer went to a Catholic school, does that count?).
Our bassist thought of the name when we were all utterly trashed at a friend's 21st birthday shindig. Apparently Ken Nagas was a somewhat legendary Australian Rugby League player that scored 2 tries (the equivalent of 'touchdowns' in Grid Iron ;) ) in the 1994 Grand Final for the Canberra Raiders. Anyway, our bassist sorta staggered over from the keg with a beer in his hand and slurred "heyymanIgoddanameforthaband. Issfugginorrsum! Ken NAGAS!! NAAAGAS!! THE KEN NAGASSSSS BAND MAAAAAAAN!!!!" and the rest of us being equally intoxicated we all agreed: "YEEEAh! FugginAYE!!!! ThasssORSOM!!!!! NAY-GAS! Nay-GAs! Nay-GASSSS!" And thus we got ourselves a name, although I didn't actually have any idea who Ken Nagas was at the time... Anways, for the sake of printing out gig posters and making our name a little more consistant from gig to gig/easier to remember we just shortened it to 'Nagas'.
The end... or is it?... Yes, yes it is.

Arledrian : Excellent man! Cheers! You have embraced the true spirit of Nagas! This Ep was forged in a crucible of alcohol and magic herb. Go hard man! Never stop the rock! The drunkener, the rockener! :D

Yorick : I don't think our music will ever be as refined or articulate as the material you have at your site (very nice site btw. I'm downloading 'Vertigo' as we speak), but it'll do for now

/)eathkiller : Check your pm
