Yep they stay at the top. Don't worry, only moderators can make a thread sticky and only important threads get sticky. Therefore there will be a max of 2-4 threads that stay stuck at the top.

Ah OK... but they get de-stickified (or should it be cleaned up?) after a while right... because it would get clogged up if years of sticky posts stayed up the top...
