Use Avalon if playing as a paladin, or Gilthanas (out of the dragonlance books) if playing as a ranger.

Ummm, dont play as anything else, not my style!

Why dont you look in the dictionary, there you can get name that give your charactor a name to bild on a name that means some thing E,G Zendic, means black magic.

Uhhmm

Zidane if I am playing a Male character, I am usually an Elven Ranger

Lady Zidane if I am playing a Female character, again an elf, sometimes a fighter/thief, usually a ranger/archer.

If I am playing a thief his name is Filch Pickapockit
If I am playing a mage her name is Xavia Spelcasta
If I am playing a fighter her name is Shakira Sordblaid
If I am playing a druid his name is Dreyfus Forestminda
If I am playing a paladin his name is Pedrix Palandrin

All these are my Icewind Dale characters, but I always have the same names in other games for whatever class I choose.

I generally use Alexander (my real name) or Aurican, or Narlen.

One of my favourite things to do with names is to name your charcter as a sort of Medievil or dramticised version of your own names. IE:

Aaron= Arrynos
Robert= Reboute
Ricky= Rickane
Lucas= Lorkas

just as an example.

always go with names from michael moorcock novels....such as Elric...Corum...Dorian Hawkmoon...John Daker....last one only seems to fit human characters....other three fit elfish or half elfish characters....well i think so anyway...........

hmmn i aint got the game yet but im getting it this week (so im a be in this forum a lot more)but i was thinking of skanking a character from a GW book (Gotrek The Slayer) and making him a barbarian/berserker because the styles of slayer suck ass.is there nething i wont totally understand or is it all explained in one of those books u get with it?J:J

My name that i use on bg2 is....... Terevok Candlehar! usually just Terevok and i dont make girls usually but if i do i steal names from somewhere else. Here are some other good names
